Franklin Flyers Logo (*WEB ONLY)

Hello, this is for a youth hockey program, and I'm not sure if they want a new logo, or just a sprucing up. Current logo (in it's sorry state) is attached below, and is basically a scan of a patch with some text added to the right. The official program colors are Blue and White.

I'm posting in Charity cases because at this point there is barely enough money to host a website never mind pay for a logo. I may be able to squeak some money out of them.

There are some Canadians in the group, you folks know what hockey is all about.. what can you come up with?

This will only be on the website, not needed for print.

What kind of "tags" will Rox come up with for these logos?! :rolleyes:

Radical Seed - Thanks for your entries. The color scheme is Blue and White, I apologize that I wasn't clear about that in the first post. Quite frankly, I'm not sure where the green came from!! I like the idea with the skates, but they seem a little too big as compared to the text.

Rox.. :tup: I like the "F", not so sure about the font for the Franklin Flyers part though.. what else you got up your sleeve.. and not even a "he shoots and scores" witty remark?!

Sorry, I read the guidelines and thought that only pertained to actual contests, not charity.

Actually, Palmer, don't you think dynagirl's got a point? The charity forum would be a good place for you to see what new designers can do in the heat of the battle.

I thought about letting it be open to all contenders but that would be unfair to the Apprentice team. They are upgraded to the regular team when they have 2 wins. The charity cases count in that total.

In addition, it's very important to me to have the contest holder be treated with the highest respect whether they are in the Charity Cases or on the regular contest forums. Unfortunately some people just don't know how to be kind, considerate, and professional with clients. I'd rather not have some outsider being a representative of this site saying something "hey d00d pick my graffix, they roxxors!!!!!!!" :D

I also take pride in the quality of the work that's produced here. I don't think that just because a person is asking for a freebie, they shouldn't expect to see sub-standard work.

So as you can see, I've thought about it but I'll keep it this way for now. :)

Ondarox, could you make the BIG F the same size as the rest of the logo, and put it to the Left?

Radical.. sorry.. but none really do it for me

FTI.. I like the Franklin font in the Jet Pack version.. but prefer the Non-JetPack look better.
