We need a logo to promote our 2006 Winter Educational Conference. This meeting will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We would like to use the Route 66 theme, but perhaps instead of saying Route 66 in the logo -- somehow the sign could say WEC 06. Please incorporate the dates into the logo -- January 30 - February 1. Please have the word Albuquerque somewhere in the logo. The theme to the meeting is Road to Opportunity and if you can include it great, but it's not mandatory.

I'm open to versions with and without -- but I'd like to see our company name -- National Cable TV Cooperative or NCTC or NCTC's WEC 06 used in the logo.

I'm completely open on the colors -- wow me.

Here's some of the descriptive text we'll be using with the logo. Much like NCTC's beginning, Route 66's diagonal course linked hundreds of perdominately rural communities across America. And, much like the cable industry, the principal arteries of Route 66 didn't follow a traditional linear course. NCTC is here to pave it's own road of opportunity for our member companies. One way we help members stay on a successful path is by offering affordable education on all the latest technologies and hot issues facing cable operators today. Join us on this road to opportunity for NCTC's 2006 Winter Educational Conference. The meetings and technology showcase will be held at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque just one block off the infamous Route 66.

Contest will end on April 26th, or earlier if I absolutely fall in love with one of the early submittals. Thanks, as always for competing!

I really like what I see so far. Keep 'em coming. I will be out of the country next week -- but I'll make a decision when I get back!

The winner is Bill with Penny Lane Graphics -- but I need some changes! Can you please spell Albuquerque correctly? :> Also, can you change the dates to read January 31 - February 1, 2006 and change NCTC to read NCTC's? Then send it to me in CMYK, eps format 600 dpi?

Tonya -- thanks for your idea too -- it's nice!!
