[Project Complete] Logo For Home Loans Business

Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a new logo for a Home Loans Business. The idea is to create a complete new corporate image. We will start with the logo, then corporate stationary and website. The look and feel with logo, stationary through to the website all needs to be consistent.

Business Name: Dezign Home Loans
Slogan: Simpler, Better, Faster
Current Logo: See http://www.dezignhomeloans.com.au/
Corporate Colours: Orange and a matching dark green (not necessarily the same as current website)

A brief description as to the type of business or image they would like to project... Dezign Home Loans would like to be presented as a professional / corporate business, but with a difference. They would like to be portrayed as a young, funky, fresh business, moving with the times. The product range will be developed by thinking out of the box, not of the norm. There focus will be the customer, with products to suite the customer, the customer’s needs (no more, no less) and at a price they can afford. They will accommodate any need, why, because they can.

Words that describe Dezign Home Loans are, accommodating, feature rich, benefits, taylor made, customised. Focus on price and savings in your pocket.

Thank-you for our first submission, this is very much appreciated.

As per your first concept... not sure if this is exactly what we are looking for...

to assist in giving you some direction, the house concept is good and could work... not sure about the $ in the house though... Could we see some options with the logo in lowercase? All uppercase makes the logo look very square... it is possible to make it a little more funky whilst still maintaining that professional look.

Maybe some options would be to use a different font for "dezign" to the font used for "home loans" this could create some contrast.

Would also prefer the slogan to be either justified left or right... to create some alignment with the logo

I like the simplicity of you submission and great start. However I do have two comments... we would like to keep the colours of our existing logo... as per the website, we need to incorporate the orange and green.

Please note that the website will also be redesigned after this competition, so feel free to let your creative juices flow...

One last comment, we would also like to incorporate the slogan with our logo... if you could fit this in somewhere it would be great.

Again, thank-you for your submission. There are some strong characteristics in your design. As per my comments to tyler... could we see the design in lowercase? just to move away from the square look... not sure if this is going to work, would just like to see what it is going to look like.

Thank you to all these submissions, I would however like to extend the deadline dates to get some more options... Due to this I will be extending the deadline to 27 April...

Please note that these are all my personal comments, I will be showing the concepts with my business partners over the weekend and will get back to everyone with more comments.

Just to assist is some more direction for the logo... Our competition, greater freedom, seem to have captured look and feel of what we are looking for very well. If you look at their website... greaterfreedom.com.au... you will see that they still have a professional image, but capture funky, fun at the same time.

Hi All

Apologies for taking so long to reply. We have debated over all the submissions and our thank-you for all the the impressive entries. Our options have been narrowed down to the following entries...

Both of the entries submitted by eziey. Eziey would it be possible to make the following two small changes... in the eziey1 entry, would it be possible to get a house that is slightly more modern/funky? And then in eziey2, there were concerns that the house looked more like an arrow... maybe adding something like a door to this design would be an idea...

The other submission that was of interest was the last submission from skyvee... Just 2 changes to this design... 1. Would it be possible to make the slogan more visible and part of the logo? and 2. change the "$" from the end of homeloads and replace with "s"

And thank-you for you patience. Finally a winner has been chosen.. the winning design is :D eziey :D

... However... :confused: still a bit confused as to which submission... Eziey... would you please make some small changes for us to help us decide...

1. The choice is between eziey3 and eziey5.
2. Could you please include the slogan in both of these designs for us
3. In eziey3 could be make dezign bolder
4. In eziey5, could you make dezign bold but lowercase?
5. In eziey5, could you put the house with a house similar to that in eziey3?

Personally, I do not encourage placing your slogan within the logo
as it wont be good for a small size logo especially website and also make your logo look busy. As for me, slogan should be set aside within the website layout. Something like in this layout.
http://www.surplusnetworks.com/index34.php where the slogan is placed on a straight bar below the button. Just my opinion.:)

I think we have narrowed down to 7 and 8. There are a lot of small changes being asked for and I would prefer not to mess you around to make the changes... Would it be possible to get the art for both 7 and 8 in PDF format? along with the fonts used etc. :D
