Hi guys,

I need a new logo for a web site we are going to develop (the web site design contest will be launched once we've got the logo). Here’s the brief:

Prize: $200
Deadline: 2005-04-20


About client

The client is a group of the city council of one of Norway’s political parties called Det Norske Arbeiderparti (The Norwegian Labour Party).


About web site

The client wants to create an untraditional web site. In stead of creating a web site about the party and its members (which already exists at http://www.dna.no/), they are looking to create a web site to promote and discuss social democratic ideas. The party will be presented loosly as the web site publisher, but will not be in focus.


About the logo

The text of the logo should be “Et Bedre Forslag” (A Better Suggestsion). You can also try EtBedreForslag and EtBedreForslag.no.

The look of it should be similar to the logo and visual profile of the political party found at http://www.dna.no/ (the logo being the one saying “Arbeiderpartiet”), but with a fresher look.

OK, here's the feedback from the client:

She does not want to use the rose or a symbol recembling the rose as she feels it's too close to the organization logo. She would rather see a symbol that's more related to ideas (remember, "Et bedre forslag" means "A better suggestion/idea") or the announcment of ideas. As suggestions, she mentioned a light bulb, a megaphone, a microphone, a radio and an old fashioned type writer. However, if you can come up with something that hasn't been done before, but still says idea/suggestion, that might be even better.

We can continue with the red color scheme, and she prefers the font used in eziey's contribution. However, she would like to see it written either "Et bedre forslag", "et bedre forslag" or "ET BEDRE FORSLAG" (not "EtBedreForslag")
