I came across DesignOutpost.com a month ago. We were not planning on a new logo design for our website, but I decided out of curiosity to browse the posts and the designers personal websites.
I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work, and by the commitment shown by all designers in meeting the requirements of context holders. They were not driven by the basic desire for the prize, but by a natural desire to experiment, improve themselves, impress, get feedback, and ultimately win by exceeding expectations.
I am always very careful how our resources are allocated and I had very little hesitation on this site. Within 48 hours we decided to set up a contest for a brand new web and company logo. To keep it short, we have had an impressive response to our feedback and requirements, but more importantly we were inspired, and the winning entry exceeded our expectations tenfold. Combined with an excellent supervision we were able to anticipate our deadline by 50%.
A special thanks to Ondarox, the contest winner, for his patience, intuitivness, contributions, team spirit, and many other great trates that make him the great professional he is. The logo you have produced is very simply perfect, intuitive, resulting in higher customer loyalty and higher sales.
Ten thumbs up to Palmer for orchestrating his team efficiently, timely, diplomatically, and for being always available.
And finally to all design team members who always compete with great community spirit and make the experience always more enjoyable.
