Hi... My name is Shaun Mayatte and I am a dentist. I am opening a new dental practice in a couple of months and need a logo. The name of my practice will be Mayatte Family Dentistry, L.L.C.
The facility will be a new building with modern equipment. My philosophy is to provide my patients with the newest and best dentistry in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
I would like for the logo to be an identifier for my practice that I can use on letterheads, buisness cards, etc. I would like for this to be a logo that I can use for 20 years or more.
Two or three colors will probably be best. I have no preference as to what colors or what direction I want you to go. I will know it when I see it. I would like for the logo to look professional and classy.
I will try to be prompt with feedback to help with this process. I have no deadline but would like to think in two weeks we could get it done.

I AM IMPRESSED WITH WHAT I HAVE SEEN THUS FAR. I LIKE EJLAIN'S CREATIVITY WITH THE TEETH AND THE SIMPLE SMILE. ALSO ONDAROX'S DESIGN IS PROFESSIONAL . GEIGER'S HAPPY FACE IS GOOD BUT I FEEL IT IS MORE APPROPRIATE FOR A PEDIATRIC DENTIST. WHILE I AM A GENERAL PRACTICTIONER TREATING THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

I AM RELUCTANT TO SAY TOO MUCH RIGHT NOW FOR 2 REASONS; 1. NOTHING IS SET IN STONE AND 2. MORE IMPORTANTLY , I DON'T WON'T TO INTERFERE WITH ALL YOU GUYS
AND GALS CREATIVITY. I HAVE REVIEWED MANY OF THE SUBMISSIONS ON OTHER CONTEST AND HAVE SEEN SOME REALLY GREAT WORK SO I AM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT YOU WILL COME WITH FOR MY DENTAL OFFICE.

THANKS AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ALL OF YOUR GREAT WORK.

SHAUN

O.K. I appreciate the entries that have been submitted but would like to see some more. At this point I think it might be helpful to make some suggestions. I was hoping to see some more smiles, teeth, toothbrushes, etc. :D Anything related would be great. Ondarox- Thanks for the submission, I am a big fan of the Walnut Works Logo you did on 06/01. Do you think you could come up with something bold like that for a dental office?
I recently learned something new about internet communication...I didn't realize I was screaming on my post the other day...I guess I spend too much time looking in other people's mouths. ;)

And a variation

Ejlain- I really like the second design and was wondering if you could try some variations of that with other colors.
FTI- The slogan is very catchy as is the design...could you try another smile-the one there seems to be similar to the Nike swoosh. Also some other colors.
Sparkie- I also like the direction that you are going. I would also like to see some variations of this design with colors and fonts.

Thanks for all of your harwork design team and look forward to seeing some more.

Hi there!

Here goes my approach to the problem: tried to make your name more dynamic, used an elegant but modern typography, and created some typographic gags using the a's as faces :o), happy faces.

Two variations of colors, ones harder than the others.

Hope you like my work

Here's my entry....

Let me know what you think. I have gone for strong complimentary colours that also give a professional look.

Thanks,
Martin

For some reason the one in the top right looks like a Mack Truck? I think I've been in front of my Mac for way too long.

O.K. I am going to decide this week on a design...Inching towards the deadline for me to begin ordering for my practice. I will post on Friday July 4, which is the winner.
I am not dead set on a winner yet so if ther are any additional, try to get them in by Wednesday/Thursday because I will meet with my staff before the final determination.

Thank you all and enjoy your Fourth.

Happy Fourth to all of you. I have a couple more of my staff to meet with before I can nail down a choice. It has been tough getting everyone together. So I will have to let you all know on Monday. Thanks.
