Hello all,

I recently had my company logo designed on the site here and I am contemplating posting a template competition, but I am not sure if it is what I am after.

Like I mentioned I am a business owner, not a programmer. I was hoping to get out of a competition, a template that I could basically just change the text on and maybe add a small image (into text area). It would be for a basic template that would be re-used on the different pages of the website.

I have used frontpage and have done some experimental websites using notepad and html, but I am at best a novice. I would hope to get a template that I could easily adjust to offer promotions, products, or other information.

It is not a site that I anticipate to get a lot of traffic, more of just an spot for prospective new customers to gain a little more info on my company.

Thanks

Yes Clay, that's what you'll get if you run a contest. It will be the html skeleton of the web page and all you do is add the content. You open the .htm file in Front Page and then "save as" the page that you want, for instance "about.htm". You then change the middle section and add a bio about yourself and anyone else in the company.

For instance, here's the template for Programming Outpost...
http://www.programmingoutpost.com/template.htm

The Design Team will make a graphic mock-up of the template and then if it is chosen as the winning design, it will be converted to html and will be sent to you along with the graphics used and the style sheet.
