This project is for the design and coding of an ecommerce homepage for a nutrition and healthfood store. Design needs to be coded in HTML and CSS, and PSD is also required.

Company Name: Carla's Alpha Omega Nutrition, LLC

Description of Products: Our products include both natural and organic foods and supplements as well as a selection of the finest imported, ethnic and gourmet specialty food products. We offer fresh meats from local suppliers, in season organic vegetables and many other fine vitamins and herbal remadies.

Overview and requirements: Client is seeking an ecommerce homepage that use the colors of the attached logo, along with other bright colors. But care must be taken to not make it look cartoonish with the bright colors. The site needs to be inviting to entice the user to shop and buy. Visitor conversions is the key.

The main pages will consist of:
Home
Specials
About Us
Contact Us
Newsletters

And there will be 7 shopping categories:
Vitamins and Supplements
Homeopathic Medicine
Health and Beauty
Foods
Special Diet Needs
Books
Household Goods

A requirement of the page is the ability of the category list to grow without changing the design. The client will have the ability to add categories as needed. The obvious thing would be to make the categories a vertical menu.

Other than the above, designers are free to show off their creative ideas!!

Logo attached is without the business name. Feel free to add that in a creative way.

Anyway, I really like your design. Just a couple of quick changes that I see right away....

1. Instead of Best Store, we need to put the company name, which is Carla's Alpha Omega Nutrition, LLC.

2. You misspelled Signup in the Signup for Newsletter box.

I am going to check about the picture you used to see if I can supply a better one, maybe a product they sell.

I don't have any specific product pictures, but I think you would be safe with just about any vegetable. As soon as I get anything, I will post them here.

I just realized something. The client has not requested a Newsletter Sign Up at all. Rather, they will just be uploading PDF version of their newsletters for anyone to download, which is what the Newsletter link is for.

Is there something else we can do with that space? I will brainstorm and post any ideas.
