(Admin code added by Palmer - JX8269745)

I am looking for a unique logo for one of my websites. The name of this website is Post to Post Am (http://posttopostam.com) and the site will be dedicated to discussion based on topics from Coast to Coast am (http://coasttocoastam.com) this involves the paranormal, conspiracies and many other interesting and sometimes controversial topics.
We’ve been in talks with George Noory (the host) and he’s assured us that as soon as we get things up and running that he will announce our presence live on air.

The Prize: $200
The deadline: May 8 (as we would like to get things started as soon as possible.)

Please keep in mind that this logo may need to be resized (for t-shirts, business cards, mugs...etc) so a vector file would be most desirable either .eps or .ai or something along those lines. I have the adobe Creative Suite 1.2 software package.
Since Post to Post will be discussing many topics there is no particular style we are looking for at this moment. Just use your own creative judgment by looking at the coast website and two of our competitor’s websites. Also since it may turn into a t-shirt design having a character or some sort of artistic drawing with the logo would be seen as a plus.

http://imaginativeworlds.com

The two above really don’t have a professional style logo but these two would be our two biggest competitors once we open our doors.

Here are our requirements for the logo.

1. Unique
2. Professional
3. be catchy (like a unique piece of art work)

This could be anything, all designs are welcomed to be entered and we will choose our favorite on the 8th of may.

Hello, MOZ is in! I'm listening to Coast to Coast right now
Small world! I've been listening for many years. I was Art's 100 millionth winner in his web site contest

Hello MOZ and indeed what a small world we live in!
I never thought any of the designers on this site would have heard of coast to coast. I’m glad to see I am wrong. I’ve been a fan since 98.

I would like to thank each of you for your designs.

MOZ: I like what you’ve done and would like to see another from you or perhaps a revision of the above logo.

Bill: What can I say; I really like both of your designs. They stand out to me as being something a member would enjoy seeing on a t-shirt or a mug.

Both of you have unique designs that would perfectly fit in with Post to Post and eventually picking just one out of “I hope many” will be a tough choice.
For now bill is considered by the Post to Post Team to have the better design and ideas used on a logo. MOZ: again, we’d like to see some more from you if you would feel like doing some reworking on the logo design or ideal.

Hey everyone,

Here’s a small suggestion that I would like to see how the idea would turn out.
Imagine the Post to Post font similar to Bill’s in the way it’s formatted and then you have a streak going through it semi transparent. Rising above the text would be an evil looking spirit and some where off to a side you would see a UFO or an alien.

I was thinking of this after seeing a logo with an evil genie… just perhaps something to play around with.

Or anything you can come up with that we could use to use as distinct Post to Post AM design.

It doesn't have to be with aliens, ghosts..etc..
It could have a wide arrangement of items and still remain part of the whole Post experiance.

Pyramids, etc.

All designs will be looked at and discussed among a panel of 3 owners of Post to Post Am.

Thank you for your submission Hypnosis.
We appreciate the time and effort you applied to designing a mock up logo... how-ever it isn’t exactly what we have in mind for a professional paranormal based logo design.

Look at what Bill from Penny Lane Graphics has done and run wild with the ideal of aliens, ghosts, or another paranormal related being-craft...etc; as this will be a major component of the logo to show what Post to Post Am is about in a Visual style. We’d still like to see another design from Bill and anyone else that may be interested in this logo design.

Paula thanks for the great work, I really like what you’ve done and I know this will be a hard to judge logo contest with many great Logos to decide from. Would it be possible for you to take out the spikes from #1 and perhaps keep some sort of a shadow background (especially where the light beam would be casting shadow from the T and a few other letters)
Also Paula, would it be possible and worth your time to try and do an Alien type logo? Something like what Bill has and what Aaron has?

Aaron, is there any way you could redefine the alien into a more realistic or detailed version and possibly use a different font? I like your concept here but the alien and font really need to be re-worked if you wouldn’t mind doing that.
If you would do a revised edition I would deeply appreciate it, I believe if you did a little more work on it that your design would be in the top ranking Logos for me to choose from.

Best Regards,

Alex

Deanna,

Thank you for your submission.
Would it be possible for you to do a revised edition?
What we would like to see is a different font and the purple changed to either orange or perhaps just nix the entire alien clothing all together and have a classic looking alien?

This is the header the Logo will go with.

(PS. I will get to the other submissions as well.)

I really like what you’ve done here eziey and it speaks out to me as no other logo designed so far has. It has an extremely professional style to it and I could see it being used on T-Shirts and Mugs. Your design stands at the top of our logo contest for Post to Post Am and I would like to thank you for your contribution.

Thank you all for your entries and the hard work I know each of you have put forward to create these great designs. All of you deserve something for all the hard work, yet sadly I can only afford to pay 1 designer.

There really is no use in furthering this contest into another day as the contest winner has already presented himself/herself with the Alien head double P design which has a highly unique look to it, while remaining professional with a touch of the Post to Post presence.

With that said, I am proud to announce that the member/designer called eziey has won the Post to Post Am Logo design contest with the design in Post #25 (if i am not mistaken. Congratulations eziey.

And I appluad each of you for your outstanding work and I hope to be able to work with many of you again on other projects that are going on.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication..

Best Regards,

Alex

Administrators and Mods, I don't see a Choose designer or anything along those lines. Could this be a bug in the script?

No revisions needed, I think it's perfect as it is :D
Would it be possible to get a PSD and a Illustrator file for this with ssome kind of hint on what you used to make the design stand out more? It's like it's shining or some sort of a shadow effect.

Yes Alex I think it is, some client are seeing it whilst others are not. We are looking in to it.

I am happy with the final product, I did ask for one small piece to be added (That being a silver arc below the double P alien heads to match the orange/golden arc..just to see how that may look.)
So, I guess we can sign off on this design.
