Hello. We are looking for a logo for a new software product that we currently develop. It is an Internet Security (Encryption) solution for wireless and cable networks, the abbreviated name of the software is "PIG" (Private Internet Gateway). The basic concept of the software is based on the well-known VPN (Virtual Private Networks) idea, but much easier to use. Once the user installed our software, all his Internet traffic is encrypted. Nobody is able to "snoop" at the websites he visits or the email he sends.
We would like the logo to somehow use this meaning either by displaying a pig, wild pig or whatever idea you have. We will be using the logo inside the application, websites, splash-screens, maybe also on stickers and t-shirts.
In addition, the logo (or a design derived from it) should be used as application icon that is displayed on the desktop and windows tray. (Note: The icon design is not part of this project, it will be a follow-up project.)
The logo should appeal to end-users and corporate customers alike. It should be fun and creative and should convey an attitude of "Internet", security, privacy and reliability.
Logos I like include the owl at http://www.winbatch.com - but I am also open to a completely different approach.
Mike
