(Admin code added by Palmer - SL988293A)

Following the successful design of the "Duff Recruitment" logo I'm after a website template for the same company. See the previous competition here: http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7271
Probably worth having a read of my comments to get a further idea of what the client wants.

The website is going to be quite small holding some brief information about the company, a listing of their current job orders and a place for candidates to submit their resumes.

To give an example of the sort of style the client is after visit
http://www.ipa.com.au/

And here is a brief mock up of it I did: http://www.boeschcomputing.com.au/duff/index.html
(See why I have to pay you guys right? :)

Now we don't need a flash header, where just after a simple header (image) which includes the duff recruitment logo. The client prefers the header not to include photos of people/handshakes but prefers other ideas.

I also need the design cut into HTML and a style sheet for the text elements created.
I however don't have any problems with it using HTML tables (to avoid needing a XHTML/CSS valid design).

Also if the design could fit into a 800 x 600 size that would be great.

You will find the logo, in various formats here: http://www.boeschcomputing.com.au/duff/dufffinal.zip

(I just spotted this list, so thought I better do this too)

Hi Guys,
thanks for the great submissions so far.
I have some feed back from the client in regard to the current designs.
Overall she is impressed with the work and likes points about all of them.

Anne:
She likes the design, but doesn't want a person in the header. The colour of the image works well, but she apparantly doesn't go for the "people images" cliche that half the websites in this business have.

Aliska:
Design 1: She doesn't like the candidate login over the header section, looks out of place to her. I don't mind it myself personally.. but she's the client :)
Design 2: Overall it's a very nice design but she doesn't like the rounded login boxes/buttons. Their color/general looks is fine, just the rounded edges don't go, she prefers everything to be square.

Lilja:
She likes the design but would prefer the logo/header to still be at the top of the screen with the menu below the logo/header. Not sure how it would look with the candidate login above the menu with the logo, could look good still?

Thanks all for your hard work

Hamish

first, thanks to everyone for submitting entries. It didn't make my clients decision easy, so thanks for the hard work all.

She's chosen prelude785, design number 1 (building image vs dice), congrats Prelude785.

Could I just remind you of this part of the competition as well

I also need the design cut into HTML and a style sheet for the text elements created.
I however don't have any problems with it using HTML tables (to avoid needing a XHTML/CSS valid design).

Thanks
