Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a new concept for a kids costume company.

The output is the front page (Header menu and content) in a layered PSD file only.

This is a new site design. The domain name is www.ksafari.com.

The brief scope is as follows:

Company name: Kids' Safari Pty Ltd

Company profile: A kids costume, clothing and manchester design and manufacturing company that have a philosophy for providing a fun and cool experience for kids.

Domain name: www.ksafari.com

What is the scope of this project?: To develop a new look and feel. A look and feel similar to www.boostjuice.com.au. I would prefer the site to be in a non corporate formate and feel. T

The audience is on two levels. first audience is for kids to be able to browse the site and look at the designs, upload photos for competitions, get newsletters etc. The second group are Wholesalers who will need to login and get pricelists and place orders.

The idea is to have a static flash page and another page that contains header, horozontal menu content, Right panel to display, login information, shopping cart summary, news items etc. The content should ideally contain icons for the various catagories of clothing and items. The site is to be simple and easy to navigate. The design criteria for design outpost is the main page (Header, menu and body) only. Final output is a layered PSD file. No coding required.

Who is the intended audience?: Kids' Safari intended audience is kids and large and small business retailers (resellers).

Mood or tone?: Professional, dynamic, non corporate, FUN AND COOL. The look should be clean and easy to navigate.

Color psychology?: Bright colours apealing to kids that preferably incorporate the pantone colours displayed in the attached logo document.

Who are your main competitors?: none known

What resources can you provide?: As per attached files (PAGE 1 ONLY).

if by sections / design elements u mean pages, then i am unsure howmany we need, but i would estimate 5-10.

As an update to my previous message, I have had some discussions with some other people and here is some more detail for you.

As detailed above, the design if for the front/home page only. Elements on the home page are as follows:

1. A left menu system (as per the menu system on www.golftours.com.au) will be used for our kids clothing range. Some of the menu items will include "African", "Prehistoric", "Mythical", "Pets" Super Heroes", "Farm Animals"

2. The logo will be in a header at the top (maybe with some images) with a horizontal menu system justified to the right of the logo OR under the header (Justified centre, left or right). The menu items will be roll over images, that will include links to "Home", "Wholesalers", "Resellers", "KSafari Club", "News", "Contact Us". These icons should be fun images...

3. The main/home page will typically be the map of a world, allowing site visitors to click on the map to visit the nearest KSarafi distributor, with more specific information to that location.

4. The main page will also contain a right panel. The right panel will include logon/register information, best photograph of the month. The KSafari club will run a monthly competition for best dressed/cutest entry for on the the club members dressed in one of the KSafari outfits. A sample image of a little girl dressed in a dinosaur outfit will be posted to use as a sample/concept. and then summarised news items.

I would love to see some serious action on this page, it is not difficult, and should allow you to really explore your creative and unconventional nature as this is meant to be a FUN site.

I have heard a great deal about the fantastic level of skill and dedication of the contributors to this forum and I am sure that I will not be dissapointed by your renewed interest in this project. THE KIDS OF THE WORLD ARE WAITING TO SEE YOUR CREATIONS.........surely, you wouldn't want to dissapoint them?.....would you? :weep:

Could we please move this competition to the revision forum for some small change? Some of the small changes we require is:
1. Could we have a shadow effect put on the logo?
2. Under the banner carrying the products range, could you please run some vines and add some animals?
3. The map needs more countries, could you please add more countries like, NZ, Tasmania, Indonesia, Madagascar etc...
