Well I have had several clients use Media Temple www.mediatemple.net (http://www.mediatemple.net) in the past, and all I have to say is I will NEVER recommend this hosting company to anyone.

I have had a client site that has been down for over a week now, and all we get are "we will email you when its fixed or we will call you back" and never do.

There are many more problems that I cannot get into, but NEVER use this company and I highly recommend sharing this information with others who might come across their path. Their customer service is rude as hell, response time is non-existent and their billing methods are less than kosher. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I've usually heard only good things about them? Sounds a bit dodgy having a site down for over a week though

Yes, the site just went up today, it was over a week of downtime and now we are on the 5th server in that time frame.

They are horrible, and I will never recommend another person uses their services.

I have a few hosting accounts (ASP/PHP) with Creative Sell (http://www.creativesell.com) and have never had any problems, the prices are very fair, and the customer support they offer is second to none, I have always had replies to my emails within about 5 - 10 mins.

I used to have a site with www.hostek.com

The only downtime was when that whole MySQL bug hit the internet, and that was only for a few hours. And never had any other problems whatsover, in a years time with them.

Although, Im no longer with them (I have a reseller account now to manage all my sites)...I highly recommend them. They are Windows not Linux servers, though.
