[Project Complete] $125.00 - Logo needed for Sales Training site - June 3 deadline!

Hello everyone! :)

We are looking for a logo for a Sales Training / Business Coaching site (we are creating a new template in the Templates Forum - so colors may have to be adjusted at some point).

Our current site is http://highpointselling.com - but we are in the process of redesigning, rebuilding and rewriting this site.

1. We know we want the logo much smaller than it is currently.

2. We do NOT want it to stretch the whole top of the site - we'd like it to sit in the top left corner of the site.

3. we want to have some symbolism in the logo in regards to "High Point"... reaching a "High Point"... attaining High results... something symbolizing that theme.

4. We want something warm, inviting, professional, tasteful, classy and artistic all at the same time! :o)

5. The only text in the logo will be "High Point Selling System" - NO other text as it is on the current site.

We're very excited to use the great talents here at Design Outpost and look forward to having many design samples to choose from!

THANKS for getting the ball rolling on our project! Liked the "arrow" idea, but looked at your portfolio and like the "Building for Tomorrow" idea better.

Also we want "High Point Selling System" to be in the logo, not just "high point".

From a creative view, I was thinking of a figure reaching for a star - perhaps on top of a peak of some sort in the background? The words over top the graphic?
OR
The little "logo" figure reaching for the stars from on top a peak to the left and the words next to it???

I don't know - just some stream of conscious thoughts... you guys are the artists! (Thank Goodness!) :D

Any other samples would be welcomed!

An excellent idea... however we do want all the words "High Point Selling System" in the logo - perhaps stacking the words so they don't stretch too far across the top?

REALLY appreciate you working for us! Probably liked highpoint3.jpg the best in message #11... but it's still not quite what we're looking for...

Picture in your mind's eye, a person purchasing these courses and sales training systems to achieve goals they never thought imaginable! :D We'd like the logo to be reaching for the stars from a "peak" of success.

I have a T-shirt somewhere that has a person standing on a mountain top reaching out w/their hand (with all their might!)to touch a single star in the sky... was thinking... THAT would be a GREAT logo for HPSS! :D

Can we see anything like that?? Anyone willing to give it a whirl?!? :yes:

What's going on...?? A project w/a June 6 deadline is getting more action and is listed as a priority project?

Here are my comments: I like the clean look of Jason's. I like the one with the three gray "mountains" with the star on top. I'm intrigued by the one with the person in the circle with the arrow on top, but can't grasp the idea behind the circle/arrow mix.

What we're trying to do with our sales training is to transform sales into people perceiving it as an honorable profession. And, that your sales conversation can be and is the highlight of your and your customer's day.

First let me thank you again for getting some movement happening today with this project... I was getting worried!!

Now my feedback...

Fabian: Really nice - can we see this idea in different colors and different fonts? Like your style and would love to see another idea of yours.

Fran: Liked the idea and from an "artist" point of view, I'm assuming the "figure" is a person reaching to the star? Can we see the "figure" a bit more realistic looking and not so symbolic? But like the basic idea!

Not artistic ignorance, I was hoping you'd ask ;)

The icon was designed to represent:
- hands shaking
- eternal flame (long lasting sales)
- “H” & “P”
- “one foot in front of the other (to show training)
- climbing a ladder (corporate ladder, sucess)
- green to show growth

You all have provided some great ideas. One thing I was thinking that I saw parts of in several designs was two people shaking hands together to make a point. I hadn't mentioned it before, because I couldn't imagine it not looking dorky. But, I should have passed it on, as it's your job. Duh. :blush:

We have a winner! Message #47 - We prefer the one without the star.

A few notes:

1. Peggy is trademarking "High Point Selling", can we then eliminate "System" from the logo and right justify "Selling" under "Point"? (so it will apprear where "System" now appears...)

2. Can you add the TM symbol to the logo - after "Selling"?

3. Can you make the grey on the word "Selling" a bit darker?

4. We like the blue color very much in "Point", but would like to use a Yellow Gold color on "High" - instead of the red. The Yellow Gold should be close to message #32.

5. Can there be a tiny bit of space between High & Point? (if it can't be a small space, leave as is since we like the flow of everything being aligned)

6. This size is perfect for the website logo... Can we have business card, letter head, and envelope sized images? Both in color and in black and white?

I know this is all usually done in the revisions forum - but wanted to get the final image here.

Hi Taldo,

Can you make the TM a little smaller. And, we apologize, but we meant to change all the red to yellow. I'll bet you thought we were a little nuts, huh? The yellow is a little green. Could you make it closer to the yellow that the dividing lineswhere the message numbers are on this page?

I second the notion of the Yellow being too green... and definitely need all red to "be gone" and substituted w/the Yellow...

The TM should be smaller still (we want it pretty small) and closer to the "G" in SELLING.

I like the Yellow much better, but can we make it the color of the smiley faces we use here to emote? ;) I think that may be pretty close to what Peggy wants... (she went away on vacation this a.m. so it's all up to me! :eek: )

How does it work if we want different sizes? Peggy mentioned to me that she also wanted in addition to the website size: Business card, Letterhead & envelope sizes in both color and B&W.
