Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a new website concept for a Migration Lawyers Business. The output is the front page (Header, menu and content) in a layered PSD file only - No coding required

The new website will run on the webEFEKTs content management system.

Company Name: Australian Migration Lawyers Pty Ltd

Company Profile: Australian Migration Lawyers is a division of Michael Sing Lawyers – Legal Solutions. Their migration services provide specialist knowledge of the migration laws, policy and procedures to ensure accurate preparation of the all important visa application documents. They offer a total service for immigration clients:
 Business skills
 Sponsorship
 Skilled migration
 Spouse and partner migration
 Family migration
 Permanent and temporary residence issues including appeals
The firm’s aim is to provide their clients with a positive solution to their migration issues ensuring today’s migration solutions meets tomorrow demands.

Domain Name: www.migrationlawyers.com.au

What is the scope of this project?: To develop a new website for the business Australian Migration Lawyers. While the partner business is Michael Sing Lawyers we will try to refer often to this in the website. The new website is to be unique, with similar concepts from www.michaelsinglawyers.com.au. The navigation menu items will be decided at a later date - we will let you know asap, but will be similar to Michael Sing Lawyers menu items

Who is the intended audience?: The intended audience is for all people who are interested in migrating to Australia and would like some assistance/information in this matter

Mood or tone?: Words that describe Australian Migration Lawyers are; Professional, Corporate, Technologically Advanced, Innovative

Colour Psychology?: Same colours as used on Michael Sing Lawyers website. We want easy to read pages, soft on the eyes but not boring.

Our Main Competitors?: Sharon Harris & Associates (www.migration-australia.com); Ray Johnson (no website); Joseph Chan (www.chanlawyers.com.au) ;Indo Consulting (www.consultanz.com) ;Australian Consultancy (www.australianconsultancy.com)

Resources we can provide?: I have attached the Australian Migration Lawyers logo.

Websites we like: I like the layout of these websites www.rk.com.au (this is very simple and very easy to read); www.tresscox.com.au; www.kempstrang.com.au; www.addisonslawyers.com.au

Dynamic Elements: We would like to incorporate sliding images at the top of each page. There is no coding required for this, if the design can just include the images as static. The client would like to incorporate pictures of Australia for this. Please refer to www.mccowans.com.au as an example.

Closing Date: 6 June 2005

The Final output is a layered PSD file only. No coding required.

Thank-you in advance to all that are going to enter

Please feel free to let me know if you need any clarification

Hi, here is the first idea. I tried to make it look as much attractive and professional as posible. I used the variety of colours from the logo to enhance more the identity feeling.

Hi Will,

Thank-you for your prompt response to this competition, very much appreciated... and I must say I think you have captured the concept very well. Just a few quick comments;

1. Could you please move the left menu system to where the announcements is currently
2. The images are the top are great, could you please extend them to be full screen width and if possible to have images of Australia or rather images representing australia?
3. And finally, move the announcements to the right to form a right panel. (Left panel will be a left vertical menu system as discussed in point 1)

Thank-you again and if you need any clarification let me know...

Hi will and Aliska,

To keep you up to date with the feedback from our customer and not to waist anyones time. They have a preferance for the entry submitted by Aliska. However, if will or other designers that would like to submit other concepts they will be most welcome.

Question to Aliska, are these reyalty free photographs and are we OK to use them on the website?

The client is very happy with the website as is and has just requested some specific photographs to be used. The clint would like 6 photo's and the photos to include (Some of which are already used):
1. The Opera House picture already used
2. Inside Office Picture
3.Outside Office Picture
Beach Picture
City Picture (high rises)
Sydney Harbour Bridge
Will wait to hear back from you, with other concepts.

Hello Everyone,

Thank-you very much for all the entries, the interest in the competition has been overwelming.... Thank-you so much for you excellent submissions. dziner, it was a close call but I did manage to get your entry in with my last discussion with our client.

The client was extremely satisfied with all the entries and a decision has been made. After much discussion, the client has chosen the entry by Anne, so congratulations to Anne and thank-you.

Once again, it was a priveladge to receive so many excallent entries... and until we meet again

Anne, would it be possible for us to move the competition to the revision section and there are a few small change that the client would like to see? The changes are very small:
1. Does the cross over the harbour bridge mean we can't use this image? Will it be possible to source another image of the harbour bridge that we can use?
