Hi Everyone,

We are looking for a new website concept for a (ISP) Internet Service Provider business. The output is the front page (Header menu and content) in a layered PSD file only.

The current website can be found at http://www.snowballnet.com.au. The site does and will run on the webEFEKTs content management system..

A logo for this website was created through designoutpost, see thread http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4918. This final logo has been attached for easy reference.

The project scope is as follows:

Company name: Snowball Internet

Company profile: Snowball internet would like to be presented as a young, innovative ISP business. The product range and services include, dial-up, broadband, wireless broadband, website design and hosting, domain names and voice services. The website needs to be professional and give visitors the confidence that we know website design and hosting. To meet and exceed expectations. We generally source all our design work through desigoutpost so this will be an excellent showcase for work designed through designoutpost.

Domain name: www..snowballnet.com.au

What is the scope of this project?: The current website needs to have a BIG lift... as our services now include website design, the current website needs to be reworked to give the visitors comfort in knowing they will be in capable hands with their new website solutions. The website offerings are the main reasons for the website upgrade. The content on the website will also be overhauled and changed, so please don't be restricted to use any of the content currently made available on the site... feel free to add and change as you like. There is no preference at this stage as to a vertical or horizontal menu system. The navigation menu items will remain consistent with the current website.

Who is the intended audience?: People looking for website solutions, ISP services and voice services. Our website solutions are primarily for Small Businesses but we do have a fair amount of work coming from larger businesses. Our ISP and Voice services are sold to small businesses and private individual alike.

Mood or tone?: Words that describe Snowball Internet are dynamic, accommodating, high level and friendly support, feature rich, benefits, Taylor made, customised.

Colour psychology?: As per current website and logo.

Dynamic Elements: none

Competition: http://gcweb.com.au/; http://gnetech.com.au; http://www.mantistech.com.au/

What resources can you provide?: Logo attached

Websites you like: http://www.irun.com; http://gnetech.com.au; http://www.datavision.com.au/

Closing Date: 29 June 2005,

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the slow replies. Brilliant entries by everyone so thank-you all very much. We have discussed your entries and they have been narrowed down to 2 concepts. These entries are from Anne and Fabian.

Anne, would you be able to make the header slightly smaller. At the moment the header is in 2 parts, 1 the logo and 2 the blue part. Would it be possible to integrate these into 1 complete header?

Fabian, we like the look of the whole sight, there is just a little too much repetition with the snowball face. Would it be possible to do something slightly different in the middle where you have the big snowball face? Something that will lift the site to something more corporate (but not too corporate)... we like what you have done with the 3x call out boxes, could you please flip all these 180degrees.

Thank-you to all the other entries, the quality from designoutpost is exceptional which makes all these decisions that much harder.
