Hi Guys,
Seen your work on here and are very impessed.
We're looking for a logo for a new company (Fuzzy Orange). The company will mainly provide IT consultancy, but we don't want the logo to imply IT, computers, etc.
The initial use for the logo will be a website, which is yet to be developed, but will also be used for stationary and promotional items including pens, so it is vital that the logo be recognisable when reduced in size.
We're looking for something that's clean and I guess reasonably simple. Ideally the logo should give a convery the image of a modern, dynamic company, but can also be fun.
We'd be looking for the image supplied in a vecor format (eps, etc) if possible.
Let us know if you require any further information, and we look forward to your designs. :)
Cheers,
FuzzyOrange

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the quick entries. An excellent start. :)
davegk - We really like this design. It's simple and effective and works well in mono as too. If we were to use the logo on a darker background, I think we would like the colours to be a little brighter. A slightly more "orangy" orange if possible. :)
Bill - This may sound a bit odd but this design is a little _too_ orange. :) If some other colour could be introduced, either in the image or the company name, that would be great. Also, we are concerned that when reduced in size (e.g. for use on a pen) this logo may not be instantly recognisable.
samoyloff - Again a nice a design that works well in greyscale and at a reduced size. The only issue we have is the font. Is it MS Sans Serif or something? It just looks like a font that we see a lot these days and would prefer something more distinctive if possible. One of the fonts we've seen which seems to go quite well with your logo is "BankGothic Md BT". We're not saying "use that one", just saying it's something we like. :)
Cheers,
FuzzyOrange

Here's a little brighter orange. It will look better when printed as the conversion to web graphics tends to fade the color a bit.

samoyloff - Can we see a version on a black background please?
davegk - The change in font and colour has made a big difference. Seeing the logo on the black background the colours look very good. Thanks.
thinkkre8tiv - Very nice logo. We actually also like the three colour reference squares you have, even though they're not part of the logo. It has also made us consider a more abstract logo, and would be interested to see any ideas you lot had.
General Note: We would be interested to see some more abstract designs if possible.
Thanks,
FuzzyOrange

#10 - nice, looks excellent with the black background.
thinkkre8tiv
#11 - different, and very nice indeed.
#13 / design 1 - thanks, this gives us a good indication of the 3 squares in action.
/ design 2 - not really what we're after, but good work none the less.
fabio
#12 - not what we're after, but thanks for trying.
castell
#14 - simple yet effective. however, can you make the "o" slightly more orange-like in appearance. we're referring mainly to the shape.
bill
#15 / design 1 - good work on this one
/ design 2 - not particularly keen on the font
/ design 3 - not bad, though the green takes a bit too much focus
General Note: for those who haven't done so already, can we see each particular logo on a black background too?
Thanks,
fuzzyorange

Hi Guys,
Once again, thank you very much for all your entries. The calibre of all the logos was very high and we will definitely come back here for any future designs.
After much deliberating, we have chosen castell’s deign from message #21. We feel the simple design works for us, and the logo stands out well on a variety of background and sizes.
Once again, many thanks to everyone who took part, and if any of the designers want comments about why their design wasn't chosen, then just drop us a message.
Cheers,
FuzzyOrange

:D Hello Fuzzy,
Thank you for choosing my design composition.
Please advise what file types do you need?
Also if there are any further revisions, I would be glad to make them.
Best Regards,
Galin

Hey Castell,
I don't think any changes are required. It's perfect as is. :D
As for formats, can we have a psd and high-res jpg (which I can fire over to the web guys immediately).
Also, a vector format for printing and resizing please. ai or eps or similar.
Many thanks,
FuzzyOrange
