Hi

We're looking for an innovative design for our site. The brief and logos are attached.

We're going to set the deadline for 29th July but we need at least three entries before we award the prize.

Prize: $450

If there are ANY question please contact us - we will respond quickly.

Good luck - we look forward to seeing the entries.

Really nice Aliska! This is certainly the type of innovative design we were looking for.

Other designers please note - don't limit yourself to this design path.

Guys - no other takers yet? Is anyone else interested in this project? Do you need more information?

I know that the team is very busy trying to get everyone a design in the order they came - so that is probably the lag for you.

I am not certian that it will help, but maybe you could take the information that you have given in the PDF file, and just type it out here on the board (no pdf) using this assessment as your guide:

Just a thought - and maybe worth a try ;)

Your logo has very clean lines and a minimalist feel, so I've tried to carry this over into the site design.

My idea is also to have the large graphic on the homepage be a flash animated element - nothing tacky, but a nice clean slow fading sequence of sharp, dynamic images.

There is also a spot for an optional search function.

Here it is...

I'll be shortly posting an idea :D

Ok, here is it. Maybe I went to far on the originality factor, let me know. The top hologram can be an animation showing text with some dynamic background movement.

All, these are great designs. Let us give you some feedabck before the decision on Friday.

Aliska: we like the general style of the template. The main logo would be the normal NVable one, with the Services and Project being links (perhaps) on the home page text. Do you have ideas for additional backgrounds? It would be nice to have some changes when the menu items were selected.

sagemedia: this has good, strong "corporate" feel, but we're not sure that the logo looks good against that background colour. It might be a little too straight for us .... but it's still part of an ongoing debate internally.

will: Nice originality. We like the logo treatment, the menu bar and the general "technical" feel. We're not sure about the way the lower part of the page is framed and the centre graphic (although we appreciate what you were trying to communicate). Do you have any other suggestions for the framed section?

Once again, thanks for the entries and work so far.

Sure, I will work on the content section, maybe removing some of the gadgets that contain the information too. i'll see for the posibilities. :D

Here's a revision with the colours changed a bit - still keeps the same look to the site but perhaps brings your logo out a bit more.

Thank you for your feedback.
The lines are very clean and straight for several reasons:
- to maintain a credible corporate image for your site
- to ensure that the page loads quickly for your visitors
- usability, to ensure the site is easy to navigate
- complements the lines in your logo

The motion in the large flash element, as well as some dynamic effects, will offset any sharpness you may see in the still image here.

You were right about the poor distribution of the content that I made. Here is a new one that can show you the posibilities of the design. :D

All

After much deliberation we've decided to go with Aliska's entry. Congratulations Aliska - we'll speak to you in the revisions area.

Thanks for participating Will and Sagemedia. Once again, impressed with the quality of submissions - although we're a little disappointed with the number of designers taking up the challenge. Maybe just vacations etc.

Thanks again

Hello
Thanks for choosing me :) and thanks Will

What kind of changes/improvements do you need?

Hi Aliska

We actually don't need any changes as such (assuming you can supply a psd file with the various elements in layers). As we previously suggested, it would be nice to have the background image change when a menu item is selected. If you could come up with 8 images that would be great - what do you think?

Hello
You mean that way?

Hi Aliska

No. I was talking about the graphics behind the "providing best business solutions" part of the design.

Aliska, are you there?

Should this project not be in the revisions folder?

They're excellent Aliska. Thanks.

I think we can take it from here. Can you supply photoshop files for all the designs?
