Help!
Does anyone know of any good sites for completly free stock photos? I'm working on a business card and I need only 3 or 4 tiny pics. of the front of homes. I don't want to subscribe to anything for 3 or 4 pics! :(

Here is a list of what I've found over the years. Please read the terms of use to see the rules. Sometimes they are not to be used for comercial sites, just personal ones. 1st and 2nd ones are my favorites...

Hello Palmer,
Great forum btw....

Just wanted to ask you (out of curiosity) is it in your plans to perhaps implement a rating system for all the great post-ers curretly members of this forum?

Perhaps rating system is not the word I'm looking for but some type of sign when a new user first visits the site dipalying as part of the thread that would signify that that particular thread/request has been completed?

Pretty much like http://www.tek-tips.com
(please feel free to delete the reference to tek-tips, I'm only using it to show you a sample of what they do not as and advertisement)

Just curious...

P.S. I apologize in advance for posting my curiosity as part of the original post...

Hi Tony, thanks for the kind words and no need to apologize. We try to keep up with any of the contests that have ended by editing the thread so that it says "*Contest Over*" when a winner has been chosen.

Is that what you mean?

Palmer,

Yes, I actually noticed the "*Contest Over*" wording but it did not catched my eye right away (it's probably just me tho...)

You know, I just browsed over at one the post where Cre8tor (I believe is the name) won a contest for designing a Art Studio logo and I had to navigate thru 3 pages to find the winning creation (very nice btw). I think, it would've been a plus to have an distictive icon in the forum linking to the winning log post or perhaps if the "*Contest Over*" text could be changed to a brighter color...

Thanks for your time.

That sounds like a great idea. For a while we were posting the winning logo on the last post but we've been getting lazy about that. I'll try to get back in to the habit of doing that.
