I need a logo designed for my software company startup

10x13 Software

We have a starter web site not much there at the moment though so I would not look to it for much inspiration www.10x13.com

My company is going to focus at first on the education market If you take this into consideration I do not want a logo that screams education like a worm in an apple.

I have tried to think of some inspiring ideas for you all but so far have drawn a blank.

Long term I am hoping to create educational software for home users
and for homeschooling. But my companies goal might change so I would
prefer my logo to not scream education.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
http://www.declan-software.com its ok but there focus is different then mine
Other ones I could find include include person pictures uhgg and most of the
other ones are just simple text some with go as far as to have a drop shadow

List competitive URLs if possible

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I focus one ease of use and I have studied human factors so I can make easier
to use interfaces.

I like that graphics its very creative.

Would it be possible to try some different colors I like the gray but the purpel and green I think I would like to see them in a few different colors.

But overall I like it :)

I am glad I decided to do this not only are you guys good artist but very imaginative. I was stumped on a good idea for what a logo should look like.

I need to think about it some but so fare I like version 1-3 the one with the darker green. If I was gonna be a video game company though I think I would go for version 2 it looks a lot tougher.

Well out of all of them thus far I like

thinkkre8tiv version 1-3 with the darker green there.

There is still one more day to go but unless there is another submission that wows me more then that one thats gonna be my pick.
