Thank you for your replies.

I like the overall look of the logo. :) The "bow" reminds me of waves and flow. The slightly italic style gave me the impression of forward-thinking and movement, while the bold letters make it look serious. Very nice.
But I'm afraid the "qb combination" might get read as "dp", causing confusion. Maybe you could change this somehow?

Artemii 1.0

I think it lacks depth. Sorry. But the waves are an interesting idea.

Artemii 2.0

Much better :) What I don't like is the placement of "soft" and "ware", I feel it's somewhat unnatural in Western cultures to read from bottom to top, even if it's not a big distance. Could you please remove "soft" and "ware" and maybe add some graphical element instead, so that it's not just text-only?

Thank you for your repies :)

I think it's much easier to read now. On the other hand, I liked the idea of merging the "q" and the "b" because it created some kind of graphical element, something eye-catching. I'm wondering if you could find some way of merging these two letters again, but with better readability?

Artemii
I really like the second one (4.0) and I think it's better than 1/2/3. The font reminds me of a newspaper font, and in combination with the waterdrop it gives me the impression of a logo made for a print shop or an ink manufacturer. Could you please use some other font, something "cleaner" without serifs?

thinkkre8tiv
Very nice. I like the idea of rotating all three letters. At this stage I don't have any ideas how to change this logo, so I would just like to wait and see what others are posting until we reach the deadline.
Of course, if you have any ideas for changes or new logos, feel free to add your reply :)

I think this is your best one so far. I really like the way the "q" and the "b" are creating a graphical element, it's kind of a "sub-logo".
Maybe you could use the waterdrop as the dot on the i, but that's really just a minor thing.
If you have any others ideas, please reply :)

bogglins
Thank you for your reply.
Your logo looks very fresh and clean and visually appealing, but I think it's a bit too smooth. I can't help but it gives me the impression of a logo made for a comic publisher or maybe a game developer.
Besides, I think the logo loses much of its uniqueness without the color gradient. Maybe you could use some other font, remove the color gradient and add something else instead?

Thanks for the feedback!
Here're two versions with a waterdrop as the dot in the "i", but I think it looks like a blue match (ver 4.2) :)
I'll try to come up with something more for you.
Artemii.

Hello all,

I'm sorry for being a bit late.
Thank you all for your time and your work. I decided to go with Juvanescence's design version 001a.

Revision
Juvanescence, could you please remove the vertical line between the q and the b:

I think the gaps between the "SOFTWARE" letters need to be a bit smaller then so that the edges keep matching like in 001a.
And could you please use a darker gray for the "SOFTWARE" letters? Not much darker, I'm thinking of something like RGB(125, 125, 125).

By the way - is it be possible to get one version with and one without the "SOFTWARE" writing or would this be a breach of the Design Outpost rules?

Umm... Hello?
Could someone please move this thread to the Revisions forum?
Am I supposed to contact the designer via PM?
Thank you.

Revisions can be worked out in the thread. I will move it now and send Jonathan a private message in case he missed it also.

(Sorry for not marking this one, every once in a while one gets past me ;) )

Please find attached your requested revisions.

I have no problem providing you with the logo with and without the word "software".

Once again sorry for the delay. :)

Thank you for your reply :)

About the color change, I would like to keep the old gray in the upper part of the letters, the change should apply to the "SOFTWARE" letters only. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough in my last post.

Second, now after the vertical line has been removed, I would like to have the space between the q and the b reduced by about 50% so that it matches the spaces between the other letters:

Thank you for your fast reply. One minor thing, though: the gray in the upper part of the letters is not exactly the same as in the earlier versions 001 and 001a where it's RGB(153, 153, 153), now it seems to be RGB(147, 155, 161).

Could you please change it to RGB(153, 153, 153) and send me the files afterwards? Thank you - and I'm sorry for being a bit nit-picky about the gray, but I really like the old one :)

Hi.

Im sorry but I design all my logos with Pantone reference or CMYK. I can assure you the grey is the exact same as from the previous examples.

The problem is when the logo has been optimised for the web for some reason it is slightly changing the colour. If you are dead set on the rgb value. I can provide both a PMS/CMYK version plus an RGB version.

Does this sound okay?:)
