Company Profile:
This template is for the Friends of Maryland's Olmstead Parks & Landscapes, Inc.
(Frederick Law Olmsted made many of the most famous city parks in the US, including Central Park in NYC)

Scope of Project: New Site

Logo: Please use attached signature file. Can you change the gray background to white ?

Intended Audience:
Maryland residents and fans nationwide of Olmsted's parks, fans of the outdoors, city dwellers, friends of mother nature.

Mood or Tone:
Organic, soothing, Natural

Color(s) requested: Blue, white, gray

Hi, sorry to bother, but can you provide us with a bigger size signature to use as the logo ? It will help us a lot to develope a quality site :D

Don't worry about the signature. I managed the photo to make all the unnecesary stuff dissapear :D. Well, here is the first idea. I wanted to keep it as organic as posible. I didn't used that bright blue of the sample website because I consider it to be too agresive for a an elegant website so I used shades of blue into a stylish, pleasant to the eye site. Hope you like it.

Hey Everyone,

The board of Directors at Olmsted met on Friday and here was their feedback. They liked parts of different designs.

They liked the site layout used by Aliska in message #16. They liked the way Aliska separated the pictures (a little spacing in between). They do not want to use the picture of Frederick Olmsted above the signature. They also want to make the space less confining.

They like the background colors used by Luc in message #12. They liked the khaki color, they want it a little lighter and the text a little darker but with that color scheme.

They liked the spacing of skr's design (message 11). What they mean by spacing is that the text and font size seemed right in the main body and the site seemed big enough to hold more text.

Other minor changes:

Olmsted does not have an "a" in the name.
The pictures used on the home page should not include pictures of Frederick Olmsted (they changed their mind)
We are modifiying the Logo, which is his last name. We gave everyone his full name as the logo. We will fix it and post a different signature later tonight.

I really need to get the revisions done as soon as possible. They want to see the changes on Tuesday morning, so I will send them what I have Monday night (9 pm eastern standard time). Sorry for the rush. let me know if you have any questions.

Great work everyone! Here are my final notes. I will be meeting with the board on Wednesday for their final decision.

Skr -can you change it from three pictures to four? On your second entry on message #25.

Luc- could you do the same for your last entry? but please put some space between each picture.

Aliska - Can you make the changes listed in message above #19 too? I would like to show them the choice of each of your entries when I meet with them this Tuesday.

the changes that they are looking for is a khaki color, no picture of olmsted, logo changed and the page bigger (see my earlier messages). I will be sending your subimission and Luc and skr to them on wednesday.

Hi,

This message is for SKR, LUC and Aliska. The client has chosen items from each of your designs.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY -

The designer that can most accurately make these changes will win this contest. The client has been very specific with what they want.

1)The old fashioned color that LUC used in the background for message #12 is the color they want used
2)They want the style done like Aliska's in message #16. This is what they like about the style of this template.
- four pictures with borders
- tabs on the left
What they do not like in aliska's is the signature (it should be the new logo that I added in message #28). The color (use the one mentioned above). The latin in the text (please use the text that I am adding in this attachment). The box on the right hand side that says"Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy" remove the entire box. The size of the text in the main body should be twice as large and the page itself should be bigger.

I am not quite sure what it is that you are wanting from the designers as they are not permitted to copy elements or styles from each others designs. It appears to me that you are asking them to, so can I get you to better clarify what you would like of each of the three designers, while keeping in mind that they all will need to maintain their own originality, and will not be able to combine elements of each others work.
