Hello,
I am a member of a non profit organization, "Friends of Walton County". We are involved with development issues that face our county. We need a logo. We would like the overall logo to be in a square format. Some ideas that come to mind are structures(homes,buildings), trees, people, etc. Our organization strives to conserve land, promote community, educate citizens, and Plan for growth. As far as colors, I guess green, etc...Thanks.

The organization name should stand alone from the logo
What type of product or service do you offer?
Community preservation and planning, education.
How long have you been in business?
New organization
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Recognition of our purpose.
What are your long term goals?
Educate the citizens, and officials about the need for planned growth.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Citizens of Walton County and adjacent counties.
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Everyone
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
A sense of community intermingled with development.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Mostly green due to the relation to trees and plants. However there are no limitations.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Quality growth, Education, care about our land.
What is your tagline or slogan?
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We would like to overcome haphazard growth, (urban sprawl)
Where will your new logo be used?
Letterhead, news letter, invitations, etc...
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?No competitors however partners. They have great logos.
List competitive URLs if possible
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Serve as a central source of relevant information and expertise for those involved in the development of creative solutions to accommodate growth, and showcase Walton's diversity of people, culture, and land.
I'd would like to finalize this logo by the 31st of August.
Website reference. We would like our logo to be of the same idea as this organization, however, have it's own personal touch.
