We are a ministry for young children in a church that is very urban in style. We are going to call the Children’s ministry “Discovery”. I want each letter of the word "Discovery" to be made up of something, for example a crayon for the letter "i", or two children touching hands and feet for the letter "o". I want these things to be child-friendly, and have an explore and discover theme to them. In addition to the word I would like a stand-alone symbol that can be placed next to the word, but not behind or a part of it. I am picturing an abstract globe, or a telescope looking into the sky.

The winning logo will be paid $200.00

i really like the color of the word neverland. i was thinking of a gate half way opened and trees, coulds, treehouse, pixie dust in the air and lots of color. I dont know if this helps, but thanks for responding. Kind of like a childs dream backyard!! Thanks so much!! Carrie

Hi Ruairi!
This looksmore like what I am looking for. I was wondering if you could go with a gate instead of doors and use one large tree with a tree house type look with a bridge and ropes hanging down. I would also like to see fairies and pixie dust in the sky and climbing the tree. Maybe add a stream with a little raft. These are just ideas, they may be a bit much. I don't want a churchy feel, just lots of bright colors. Thanks!!

I love the rainbow. The color of Neverland is great with the yellow running through it. Maybe put the starburt that is in the sky, on the sides of Neverland. Try Neverland in a multicolor font and maybe go back to the door, I think I like it better. I was wondering what a stream going through the yard would look like. Also, maybe a large tree house instead of two smaller ones.

I think we should make this a little less complex. Maybe just the doors opened up the the name Nerverland with pixie dust around it or starbursts. Keep the Neverland font in gold.
