[Project Complete] Tri-fold Brochure for USAscore - $215

I am trying to create a double sided, tri-fold brochure for USAscore, a test preparation company based in Shanghai; www.usascore.com.

I have attached three files.

(1) Learning.doc contains the text
(2) USAscore-vector contains a vector file of the logo
(3) USAscore Ad.pdf contains a copy of our last ad

I am hoping you can ad photos of students learning, etc

1. Will this brochure be distributed in China? I notice that the address is in Shanghai.
2. If so, do you prefer that any images used depict solely Asian students?

Hi!

This looks good. In general, I like the second layout a lot better. I think it's nice that the text won't cross the fold lines.

A couple things.

Front Page:

1) SAT, GRE, and GMAT need to be more prominent. It's actually just as important that people see these as that that they see the logo. This will be placed in public areas, so the test names need to catch people's eyes.

2) The picture on the front should have at least one white person. The best would be one white, one asian. Also, one male one female (all the pictures are now women)

Back Page:
3) I like the course schedules on the back, more. Also, we will add more courses there later, so it's important that we have room for them. We will probably have four to six courses listed.

This looks fantastic. I have update the text (The part that you pulled from the website) and the arrangement of the schedules table.

Will this be sized for A4 paper? I don't know whether we mentioned paper size before.

There are three text changes. I'm also attaching the revised version of the text. Sorry for the change. We are two people here. This should be the final version.

3) "About us" major text change.

USAscore is a test preparation and admission
counseling company based in Shanghai, China. We offer
test preparation courses for the SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT,
and MCAT. Our courses are taught entirely in English
by native English speakers. All of our instructors
are expert test takers and teachers who have been
accepted to the most prestigious universities in the
United States.

USAscore holds classes at various locations throughout the Shanghai area.

Thanks for your hard work on this. Will we be able to edit the text in this design as needed after you send it to us? We may want to use the same design for our winter schedule as well.

This change is in reference to the picture on the front. I realize this was in our advertisement, but somehow here the poses look very confrontational because the arms are crossed. Do you have any other pictures to try? Thanks!

The brochure is now size A4 (originally it was 8.5x11) and has been built in QuarkXpress 6. Quark is the print industry's pre-eminate page layout program; basically the industry standard. It is completely editable if you have access to the program.

I've made the text changes that you've outlined and added a new cover image. Let me know what you think.

(1) Picture on the front still isn't right, these poses seem a little too confrontational. The one before was better.

(2) Can you remove the words "We help Asia Score" from the logo.

(1) Can you tell me if I need to delete some text? I am afraid there is too much text; I'm not sure it will be readable when it is printed.

(2) Can you make the Learning Practicing Mastering lower case except the first letter. And, do you have a more italisized or scriptlike font for those words?

(3) Can you remove "we help asia score" from the other logos and make sure that the "Advanced Test Preparation Shanghai" has the first letters in caps like I just wrote?

The text is perfectly legible and the main body text (under learning, mastering, etc) is currently at 9.5 pts. which is easy to read for most people. Of course you can always edit the text if you want to.

I've made the other changes that you asked for and have posted a high resolution PDF for you to download and review. A private message has been sent with the download address. Let me know if you have any further changes before a final file is prepared.

I think this looks a little busy. I've been thinking about how to improve this brochure and I think the main problem is that it should be more professional, in many places it is too busy.

(1) So, I would like the inside pages to have a more proffesional color scheme/look (can you try something other than orange),
(2) and maybe try removing the middle picture from the front page,
(3) and on the first page put the words:

Comprehensive Test Prepartion
Shanghai

I will deliver the brochure as a high resolution PDF and well has it's natvie format: QuarkXpress. The Xpress file is completely editable if you have access to the program. Fonts and supporting images files will be included. If you need any other text changes before sending this to print you can send them to me if you prefer.
