Hello DO Team,
This is Eran from DeCalo Fashion back at you with another logo project. My first experience exceeded all expectations so I had to come back for more!!! This new project is for a person very near and dear to me, my fiance Kristen and her sister Delayne, so don't let me down ;) Here go the details:
Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo? Powdered Sugar Shoppe
What type of product or service do you offer? Unique, upscale, hand-made, and personalized children’s Décor and fashions.
How long have you been in business? Start-up
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? A whimsical, distinctive, posh brand.
What are your long term goals? To establish a successful business whose identity is memorable!
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience. Our customer base is A-List clientele. In other words, moms with expensive taste and deep pockets!
Who would you like to add to your audience? We would like to attract retail boutiques and other online websites.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like? Whimsical, chic, posh, upscale, memorable.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) Pastels, light pink, baby blue, lavender, green, etc. Anything BUT bold primary colors!
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? We don't have a particular image in mind but perhaps someone can incorporate a sack of powdered sugar, but we are open to anything… A fairy wand sprinkling powdered sugar, a ribboned wall hanging with the logo on it are some other ideas we've had…
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? That we are an upscale, chic, trendy, distinctive, unique, and professional.
What is your tagline or slogan? We don't currently have a tagline.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? We want them to feel like they have to have our items!
Where will your new logo be used? On our online store (website), business cards, letterhead, labels, etc.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Anna’s Gift Gallery- www.annasgiftgallery.com too plain
Smartie Britches- www.smartiebritches.com don’t like the doll
My Retro Baby- www.myretrobaby.com like color scheme and font
Rosenberry Rooms- www.rosenberryrooms.com like font, don’t like designs
Polkadots and Moonbeams- www.polkadotsonline.com too plain
Baby Bee Mine- www.babybeemine.com font too plain, like the bee, like the .com
Dimples and Dandelions- www.dimplesanddandelions.com don’t like font, not whimsical enough, not a memorable logo
Toddleposh- www.toddleposh.com like the fonts, don’t like the colors
What sets you apart from your competitors? We can offer a greater variety in each category. We offer more personal choices, unlike our competitors, our designs are cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. From our product to our packaging, the presentation is more appealing. We use top quality materials on every design, and do not outsource our work, so everything is done to perfection. We are not a mass production shop, everything we send out has our own personal touch.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company: Distinctive
