Hi designers,

I would like a new logo for a small medical site which is about to be launched. Its called med24 and will sell health and nutricion related products online to a broad group of customers, both men and women and of all ages. Some of the competitors are www.homecare.dk (http://www.homecare.dk) and www.dit-apotek.dk (http://www.dit-apotek.dk).

The logo must reflect the name "med24" and perhaps include some sort of symbol. The colors should symbolise health and wellness but not be to close to the logos of the two websites mentioned above.

Besides those few requirements, you have pretty free hands to form the logo.

Deadline is set for september 11th 2005.

Have FUN! :D

Specific feedback given below:

Fabian:
This is our clear favorites at the moment. Its very original and nice to look at. Could you maybe add some color to the heart to make it stand out a bit more, but without damaging the "24"?

MOZ:
The logo is to heavy and bold for us. Doesn't really signal health, wellness or meds. Would be great for an emergency unit maybe. If you have other ideas please post them.

Kassi:
Your version 2 is our runner up right now. The symbol in front doesn't appeal to us, to much physics over it. The font you use for "24" is very nice. Do you have an idea for another symbol, as the logo might be to simple without one. Ver 1 and 3 does not really trick us.

bogglins:
Can you tell me a bit more about the symbol you use? We don't really catch this logo in its current form.

Ruairi:
Nice clear colors. Maybe 3 pills are a bit to much. How will it look with just a single pill?

Thank you all for your entries so far. After the revisions are posted I will decide on a winner.

hi.. that was a cross.. which is normally used to symbolize/represent the medical/health related services/products....
but i stylized its form to differentiate it from others..

i tried to use other symbols such as capsule, glass, tablet, snake etc.. but i decided to use cross.. to make it more general.. not limiited by one solution/medication

4a: I decided to work with an apple silhouette, which could also be a heart, or (even more abstract) the leaf could be the head of a person, and the apple/heart shape could be its arms embracing the text. I added a little "heart beat squiggle" at the end of the "4" for a little visual interest.

4b: Just another variation of the apple idea.

This was a really hard decision to make. Kassi, your revision was very very good and very elegant, but the winner is Fabian's entry. It had something simple yet very original about it that just hit the nail right on. I will send you a PM with the final wishes for revision.
