babystyle (babystlye.com) - to corporate and modern looking. Doesn't look whimsical enough.

tutibella - (tutibella.com) - Don't like animation, looks cheap and plain.

girlygalore (girlygalore.com) - Like the whimsy font, don't like colors. Too wide.

Layla Grayce (laylagrayce.com) - Not memorable, plan. Don't like cursive.

This one misses the mark significantly.

It needs to be much more wimsical and we carry more then clothing as the logo would suggest.

That design is nice, but the baby might indicate that we only sell baby clothes. Also, the flowers in the font make it harder to read and don't quite go with our dot theme on our web site Dimples and Dandelions.

Check out the logo on fashionistababy.com. We like that kind of font.

I like how they incorporated the little face...and I like how they have the words baby are blocked in whimsy text with colors around it. I also really like the font that is used in the words surrounding their home page. Maybe the whimsy print would work better for our title that a whimsy cursive... That's a cool whimsy print that they use.

I like leopard print..retro dots, frenchy looks. some ideas for you for added touches if need be.

Another idea- Since our logo name is so long...Dimples & Dandelions instead of "and". Maybe offset the words Dimples with "&" in the middle and Dandelions on the bottom. Maybe some kind of whimsy little touches around it like little dots or something chic?

I want it to be whimsy and cool...but not stuffy and corporate but I still want it to have an upscale boutique feel. I also want it to be memorable and easy to read. Really want an upscale "Chic Boutique" look. I think that the "Fashionista baby" logo is cute and whimsy ...something in that direction would be good.

Wow! You guys are going to make this hard! Your ideas are just blowing us away and we are so excited! Here are my suggestions-

Pracus-Thank you so much for all of your great ideas. I really like version 5 and 6. In version 6 we would like to see the color omitted from the letters and remove the stars. Also, the word "Dandelions" is hard to read with the flower. Could you try to play around with the flower placement and raise it a little? We would also be interested in seeing any other whimsy ideas that you may have that is not a flower. Maybe a fairy or wand? The word Dandelion worked for our boutique name however it is not the prettiest of flowers..aka weed. LOL

Paula- Version 1 is really nice! It is easy to read, love the font and how you sized and placed "a children's boutique". We especially like how you added the whimsy scroll touches- very nice! One suggestion, could you play around with the flower? Maybe try a whimsy little fairy or some kind of magical wand or something? I'm just kicking around ideas ...not sure if I want to stay with flowers or not. We may not keep the dot theme that is currently on our site so don't worry about trying to match that. You are going in the right direction with Version 1!

Bethie- Thank you for your submissions. The font is not really working for us and I think the "&" sign is too overwheming. We would also like something more whimsy looking. I think I prefer the logo longer vs wider for our site.

Fran- Version 2 is really nice. However, I would like to see what the following changes would look like. I would like the tag line to be straight and not curved. I would also like to see what it would look like in tones of pinks and browns. Thanks!

I forgot to add that I would really like to see Version #1 font in a Dark Charcoal Grey or Dark Brown....maybe have the accent (whatever you decide) in a color that pops....it would be nice if it would already coordindate with the colors that are on our site.

Hi Fran- My husband and I decided to move away from the dot design on our site. Thanks for your revision though.

Paula - I like that the new sizing - perfect! I had two favors to ask. Could you revise the pinks on your design to match the pinks on our site more? I would like to compare the two color ranges. Finally (please don't kill me), I wanted to see if you could come up with some kind of child-like cherub kind of thing. I love the fairy but don't know if it ties in with "chic children's boutique". Just brainstorming for cutsey but still chic.... It may be too busy but what about maybe a child-fairy /cherub with a leopard print diaper..some kind of hip accent? Or maybe the fairy that you already made more "chic-like"? We are eliimating the dots on our site so don't worry about tying that in. I love what you have done so far. I'm just wondering if "Chic" is still going to tie into our logo. Some ideas- Our boutique is funky and cutsey wrapped in one... maybe my fairy needs a tad more funk. If you could come up with some alternate little thing that we could compare the 1st fairy too that would be awesome.

Thanks so much Paula- You are our winner! We decided to go with your version 3-b. The only revision we have is that we would like the brown to be a tad darker (like what is in version 4).

Thanks for playing around with my ideas. We decided that we can be "chic" with our little pink Fairy Godmother afterall- lol. It translates better in B&W and is less busy.

Please let us know what we need to do next- We can't wait to put it up on our website! Thanks for making our vision of a super cute logo a reality- you rock!
