FunFamilyNight.com will shortly be launching a website and needs a logo.

The site will be a community site where content is posted for a variety of fun family ideas, such as Activities, Story Time, and the Joys of Parenting. Each posting will also enable and invite visitors to share their own experiences with the activity of events discussed in each posting. (Such as a comments section or book review, but hopefully will contain additional fun, not just review the fun presented in the posts.)

We're looking for a logo that conveys fun, families, diversity, exhilaration, trials, struggles, and achievement.

We have spent significant time evaluating a patchwork quilt motif. That seems to work well with the variety of ideas we have prepared for the site.

So, the logo may include some elements of a quilt, may simply complement the quilt motif, or may be some other brilliant idea not yet considered by us.

Website is too antisceptic. Not really a place where families can share ideas openly with each other. All content professionally polished, unlike most families.

First, I erred in the questionnaire. The text in the logo should be Fun Family Night (not Family Fun Night). So that is the first thing that will need to change in the submissions.

Pracus Message 5, the grey star doesn't work. Perhaps other colors with that design may work better. Also the child and the script don't work for us. Can you try something with a different people design, or perhaps no people at all?

Gig Message 6, we like the design shape, colors, and stars, but the Dr. Seuss-like people don't work. (They are sure associated with good stories, it's just not what we're looking for.) Can you try something without people or with different looking people?

Taldo Message 7, that is a fun idea and logo. Can you try it with a shape around it? We're curious what that would look like.

There doesn't seem to be much activity here. We kind of like message 7 and 9 submissions, but the colors are almost the same as FamilyFun.com. And now we're wondering if that isn't too much of a party atmosphere.

So let's consider a different direction here. Let's put the logo emphasis on "Moments", such as Special Family Moments, Parenting Moments, Memorable Moments, Activity Moments - something that emphasizes the Moment or what families can accomplish in a moment. Thank you.

Taldo, message #7 appears to have a form of people who are throwing squares and circles into the air. That confetti effect makes it feel like a party. Could you try removing the squares and circles in the air (keep what looks like their heads) and replace that "confetti" with a small arch from one side to the other? We think that may have the effect of drawing them in together.

I meant for my first logo to look like books and misc items thrown in the air - guess that didn't work out so well! I can make it look more like books if you would like. Here is a new version as well.

In light of our focus on family moments, could you try changing the words in the logo from "Fun Family Night" to "Moments for Families"? Then decide if the star still works with that, or if some other accent would work better with the arch. We're just trying to figure out the right feel here.

I would like to choose Taldo as the designer and end the contest.

Taldo, the team as requested to consider a few variations before finalizing the design, as follows:

Moments - we would like to see all the letters in the same font. Could you do one version with all caps and another with Title case (just capitalize the "M" in Moments)? We think we like the script font for Moments that you used for the "e". (the font used in "For Families" is fine.)

Colors - could we see a few different color choices?
