Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Obtiva (or Obtiva Corporation???)
What type of product or service do you offer?
Niche IT Training and Consulting to software development teams and project managers. Clients are Fortune 1000 VPs and Directors with large, challenging projects.
How long have you been in business?
This is a new business identity, but the principal consultants have approx 10 years in the business.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Convey authority, agility, knowledge, success, trust.
What are your long term goals?
Train developer teams and managers in what they need in order to succeed in the enterprise software business.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Jaded software developers and IT executives.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Mostly text with a splash of one other color. If a symbol is created, make it very clean. Maybe something like a human outline in motion or just a swooshy thing. Maybe a play on the O in Obtiva.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Here are the two web templates I am considering for our site:
http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/8759.html?&templ=8759&tab=178
http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/8255.html
So, it should be something that would fit with either of those.
Communication Strategy:
What is your tagline or slogan?
Training that matters.
I would like to see the tagline included.
Where will your new logo be used?
Website, Business cards, Stationary, Shirt embroidery, large signs and banners at tradeshows.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Here are some I like:
http://www.trainup.com/home.aspx
http://www.traininghott.com/CityAll/Schaumburg-IL.htm
I like the sites but the logos are just a little too garish.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Expert, niche training on real skills that will improve a software team's effectiveness.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Niche Training.
Business Name: Obtiva or (Obtiva Corporation)
Payment : $175
Deadline : Sept 25th, 2005
