[Project Complete] Aegis Brochure - $200

Hello designers!

I need a brochure with the following characteristics:

8.5 x 8.5, and it will be folded with all four corners in to make it 6 x 6. I am thinking that the front can have just our apple logo (see attachment) however this is only a suggestion.

It needs to complement the following web site:

www.aegisonline.ca

A general guide for content is attached, as well as one of our logos - I will get the apple that is on the web site up tomorrow (I don't have the proper version today, but I want to get this project posted).

I am leaving all other design aspects open, including colour.

Information from a printer we will likely use:
Bleed dimensions – Let's try not to work with bleeds
Safety dimensions – ¼” is great.
# of colors – We can deal with 1,2 or 3 spot pantone colors or full color (4 CP – cmyk). Bang for your buck is in the 4 color process work. Any of these is fine.
File formats – We don’t like indesign much but we can deal with most Quark or Illustrator versions.

The deadline is October 7th.

Please let me know if you need any other input or information before that - this is my first time!

This is a quick layout of the interior. Is this what you had in mind for the folds when it's opened? ie. the maroon triangles would fold in to create the 6x6 cover?

Obviously this is designed with a bleed. Is that completely out or is it a possibility?

This is definitely on the right track. I am not completely opposed to the bleed, however I would prefer not to have it.

Also, can you tell me a little about your clients? Does AEGIS target the corporate world? Industrial/blue collar? Both?

Unfortunately I don't have this particular logo in high resolution. It was a variation of our logo made by a web designer for our web site. We hope to have it in high resolution in the near future, but I can't guarantee it will be within two weeks.

We target the oil and gas industry; our contacts in the companies are a combination of white and blue collar people.

Some quick feedback:

I really like the initial design - the colour, etc. I am not a fan of any of the images you have found. Sorry!

I have some ideas of actual images from one of our courses - I am working on getting them in a format we can use (they are from flash). I will post them as soon as I can.

I am wondering what my next step is. From what I understand I should have at least 3 designs to choose from (which I do now) and then I make a decision as to which one I like.

My decision is the very first design, with a few modifications.

Please let me know what to do now.
