I think with the sun and stars motif it could be easy to make this logo cartoonish. We want to try to keep this bright and sunny but not tacky. Good luck!

Ruairi - Thanks for kicking things off. You've also created a tough act to follow! My initial thoughts are: I like them both! Only a few thoughts:

I'm not sure if we want to create a distinct division of the name SUNstarr with the font size and color. But then again we might. We have quite a few people reviewing this.

Also - MORTGAGE is misspelled :)

Kassi - at first glance I like the logo where you use the "S" design in the word Sunstarr. My only suggestion is to find a way to include a bit more color. I don't know if it makes sense to keep the outline of the circle and the letters in blue and maybe fill in the circle with yellow?

Hi all - just looking to see if anyone else is working on a design for the contest. We have some great entries but would love to see some additional.

A couple of things to keep in mind - think HORIZONTAL. Letterhead and faxes and that sort of thing are where the logo would be used the most (in addition to other marketing areas). Nothing too big either.

Ruairi - Got some additional feedback and Design 3 seems to be a favorite. In reference to my comments above, it might be good to see the design part of the logo slightly smaller and moved either to the right or the left of the text. I think this would give us a better look for letterhead.

Ruairi - I like Design 7. I have one more suggestion. Can you reverse the design so that the sun and its color is on the left and the stars and blue are on the right. And I also like the middle design of that version where there is a slight color variation between the Sun and Starr.
