We are looking to have print material made for our new business/logo we just had designed here at DO! We are wanting the Stationary Package B; a two-sided business card, stationary and envelope. We hope one week will be time enough for everyone, as we are wanting to push the printing. Thanks!

Information for the business card will need to include the following:

Jackie Kurtz, Owner
Woodhaven, MI 48183
Phone: 555-692-4438
Cell: 555-231-5349

Insured and Bonded
www.busybeescleaningservice.com (http://www.busybeescleaningservice.com/)

The second side of the business card will need to include this info:

We offer weekly, bi-monthly (twice a month) and monthly cleaning services as well as one-time cleaining and move-in/move-out cleaning services.

We appreciate our referring customers!
*Receive a 50% discount on one cleaning with a paid referral for a one-time clean.
*Receive a FREE cleaining for a paid repeat referral. Free cleaning for weekly, bi-monthly and monthly service contracts only and will be honored after the third cleaning.

For the envelope:
Busy Bee's Cleaning Service logo, of course, then
22515 Devonshire
Woodhaven, MI 48183

For the stationary, same as envelope.

Thanks!

Wow! Impressive! The only thing I can think to change on your designs at this time is the envelope. We leave an envelope with our clients along with a stationary invoice (bill) to assist them in paying for our services. Instead of our logo/address in the upper left hand corner, could you put it on the center front of the envelope? Thanks!

Hi Fran!
Thanks for your submissions. For some reason, I am liking your first one best. Could you make the following changes for me, please?
1) On the envelope, instead of a splash of bubbles and sparkles, could you make it similar to the stationery (except on a smaller scale, of course) and run it down the left and bottom borders of the envelope. Also, put the logo and address in the middle of the envelope with the street address on a seperate line from the city, state and zip, and also make it the same darker blue as in the logo, not faded.
2) Could you make the printing on the back side of the business card all of the darker blue, no faded lettering. Remove all the bubbles from the background and put a larger "bee" in the space to the right of the wording.
3) On the front of the business card, would you make all the wording below the logo one font size larger and make it all solid blue.
Thank you!

Hi Fran - Thanks for the revisions. We'll leave it like this for now. If we choose your design, any changes we may want can be done in the revisions forum.

Hi Augustin - Thanks for your envelope revision. To abide by US postal regulations, could you put the city, state and zip code on a separate line below the street address and name? Also, could you make the font one size larger on the street address, city, state and zip code for better readability?

We will be choosing a designer for our stationery package B tomorrow. Any other graphic artists have what it takes to top what has already been submitted? :flex:

Augustin and Fran - I just realized you both omitted "Insured and Bonded" on the front of the business card.

Would anyone be up to designing the stationery with a "water mark" of our mascot bee, minus the "twinkle" under his chin? A sample of a water mark design I like can be found in the logo archives on P5 dated 1-29-05 under "mikeruck," message #29.:)

Hi,
I would be happy to do a layout for you.
I'd love to see that watermark you are referring to,
but the link does not seem to be working.
Could you direct us there by using the
Project/Contest name?

Thanks,Paula

Hi Paula,
Yes, the name of the project is Paint Pot Murals. The designer was eziey.
Thanks!

This is almost embarrassing! Picking the logo design was difficult enough, and now choosing a designer for this contest is even harder! All the designs are sooooo good! So please help us decide by making the following changes. This is the last set of changes we will ask for before making our decision.

First, we are leaning towards the solid white designs as opposed to background color for ease of printing. Also, we decided we did not want the large watercolor bee on the stationery. Bubbles and shine is fine. We are going to use the stationery as a billing invoice and want the bee associated with the fun/happy side of our service, not the paying part, if you understand what we mean by that.

Imot- We like the business card design in message #2, back, and your revised front in message #19. Maybe we could reverse the colors on the stationery to match the business card. We would like "we make your home bee-utiful" put under the logo on the stationery, please. Reverse the colors also on the envelope in message #12. We like everything on the back of the business card, and also the reverse of it in message #20. No changes to either of these.

Fran - While your design is simple in message#9, I keep coming back to it again and again. It is simple and "clean." On the front of the business card, could you put the web site address in a solid blue bar accross the bottom of the business card? On the back of the card, please put titled "Receive a 50% discount" above 50% discount paragraph and "Receive a FREE cleaning" above the cleaning paragraph. Thanks!

Paula - Thanks for your designs! For some reason the bubble one looks too two-dimensional, although striking. However, we like your designs from message #22, but decided not to go with the bee on the stationery. Bubbles and shine is fine. We like the bee on the back of the business card and that entire design, but want to strike the bee on the front. Could you try something different? The envelope is fine, but we need to have the logo/address on the center of the envelope because we will be leaving the envelope and invoice at the customer's home to mail back to our office. See message #11 for details on how that should look. Thanks!

Finally, thank you all for making this such a difficult process. You are all very good!

Wow! This was a close race! I think the problem is I wanted the envelope from one designer, the stationery from another and the business card from yet the third. However, I finally decided to give each designer a point system (1 for first, 2 for second and 3 for third) for each separate item, then added up all scores from each project and the lowest score won. Nonetheless, it was very close. Thanks all for showing such wonderful talent. I wish I could buy them all!!!

Fran, you clinched this one! Congratulations!

Moderator, please pay Fran and move our project to the revisions forum for a few minor changes before we get those files. Thanks!

Congratulations to all of you for a job well done.

Hi Fran,
Please note the following changes:
1) On the front of the business card, change Jackie Kurtz, Owner to Jackie Kurtz, President. Also on front of card, place "Woodhaven, MI 48183 left justified under Jackie Kurtz, President (which is to remain centered) and under that the business phone number (change the business phone number to 734-692-4438), and under that put the cell number (change cell number to 734-231-5349), all left justified. Put Insured and Bonded right justified just above your solid blue line and on the same horizontal plane as the cell number (It will look similar to Paula's message #24 but the address/phone #'s and "Insured and Bonded" are flopped). Also, could you center the web site a bit more within the solid blue line? It seems too high up (Again see Paula's).
2) Could you correct a spelling error on the back of the business card? Second line - "cleaining" to "cleaning." This was my fault, I realize.
3) On the envelope, could you make the logo just a tad larger along with the font one size larger for the address?
4) On the stationery, at the bottom under the bubbles and shine and overlaying the bottom half of the lowest large bubble, could you put "We make your home bee-utiful" similar to Imot's message #2?
5) On the envelope, in the upper right hand corner could you make our mascot (the bee) a watermark (like you did on our business card back) the size of a postage stamp overlayed with:
Place
Stamp
Here
Centered over top of the watermark bee?
If this is going over and above our contractual agreement, feel free to omit #5.
Thanks again Fran!

Hi Fran,
I'm not liking the font at the bottom of the stationery. Could you find one that is more chubby and squished and also right justified like Imot's #2 font? Also, I have decided I don't like the sparkle under the bee's chin. Could you move it to just over the wings like you have it on the back of the business card? This is how I would like it to look on the stationery logo, the envelope logo and the business card logo front and mascot back.
Finally, could you shrink the bee in the upper right hand corner of the envelope just a bit, take off the sparkle under the chin and center the words a bit more? We are very close, Fran! Hopefully this will be our last revision. Many thanks.
BTW - I really like that cute bee in the upper right hand corner of the envelope. You're my hero!

Hi Fran!
One tiny change and you can send those files! I like all the changes thus far. I like the font on the last stationery you did, which is message #37, but could you ad an exclamation point at the end ("!")? That's the only change left and we're done.
Great job, Fran. My sincere thanks!

Hi Fran,
This is absolutely the last revision request, promise! Could you please make my stationery look something like what I did in the attachment (the bee at the bottom of the page)? I am not much of an artist and do not have a good draw program. I am sure you could do much better. At any rate, I want the "buzz line" to be the same color as the font "we make your home...."
Many thanks. Let me know when the files are ready so we can close this project.:winkkiss:
