(Admin code added by Michael - 54K98653XS0818418)

I need a wine label designed as a thank-you present for some clients. My best idea is of a school of blue fish, but I'm open to other design ideas.

The label needs to have the name of the wine: "2003 Manzanita Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon". I'd also like our logo (attached) and the phase "Thank you for being part of the Blue Fish team."

Instructions and label dimensions can be found here: http://wine.personalizedwinesource.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=labels.labelcustomize&winelabelid=33&winelabeltypeid=1

We have a tight deadline, so I'd like to make a decision by Sunday Oct. 2nd.

Hi, what is the color of the bottle? and do you have any color preference for the label?

--i checked the instructions on the website llike you gave.. and i found that we have to include the following information:

"Make sure that your wine label includes the name of the wine you are ordering, the bottle size, and the alcohol content. "

...could you please give a little information/background about the "blue fish" ?

thanks!

and for the logo, is we have to keep the original blue color as well?
thanks!..

I'm not sure what the bottle color is - probably smoke covered. It will be filled with red wine, so it will be dark.

The Blue Fish logo colors must remain, and I would like blue as the primary color pallate for the label. This bottle will go in a gift basket with lots of other blue things: a blue corkscrew, some blue m&ms, etc.

Blue Fish is a software consulting firm with clients such as Bausch & Lomb, Sara Lee, Southwest Airlines and Sun Microsystems. Checkout this page to see some of our personality: http://www.bluefishgroup.com/funstuff/

I believe that the wine company will add a label to the back of the bottle with bottle size, alcohol content, etc.

I'm not a fan of the serif font. Can you try a sans serif font for the "Blue Fish" and the "Thank you..." text?

According to the page that you directed us to that info must be on the label:
"Make sure that your wine label includes the name of the wine you are ordering, the bottle size, and the alcohol content."

Also, do you have your logo available as an .EPS or .AI file? If not, do you have a high-resolution version available (300 dpi)?

ElKootcho - Your design has some depth (that I like), but the rustic finish isn't in line with our brand. Our collateral and other materials have a more streamlined appearance.

Also, I don't think it's necessary to have the logo dominate. I'd rather have something else and have the logo be a smaller accent.

Here's another design. Modern and blue :D

Here's an ai version of the logo, but it needs to be laid out like the photoshop version and the colors need to be changed.

The submission by ElKootchoo in Message 13 is much closer to what I am looking for. I'd rather the fish be more like our logo fish or at least be a different species - the ones here look a little too asymetric. Please add a period to the thank-you text.

Fabian's design is also close to what I had in mind. I like the coral, but there's too much coral and not enough fish. This is one of my favorites so far. Please add a period to the thank-you text. Also, can I see the next version is a larger size?

booglins, your latest try with the grapes is your best so far, but I'd rather have a fish motif (grapes are a bit generic for a wine label)

Fran, your idea is close, but I'm not sure about the fish you chose. Your composition is very good - each element is the right size. Can I see some different fish options? Maybe a school of fish option?

I've updated the fish with a more traditional shape and arraigned them into a school. Feedback is always appreciated.

I thought a nice simple design would be more inline with your business identity, and possibly work well with the other items in your gift basket.

I just realize I left the alcohol content and bottle size off the label, if you decide to choose my design I will add that in for you.

Thanks!

Josh
