Design Outpost Creative Brief Worksheet
Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
SalesForcePipeline.com
What type of product or service do you offer?
We are an online Customer Relationship Management Portal
How long have you been in business?
This is a new site we are launching.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
I am looking for something eyecatching and memorable. With the pipeline theme and surfing related.
What are your long term goals?
We're looking for a smaller marketshare of about 10,000 subscribers in the next 24 months. Mainly smaller home businesses/Network Marketers.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Our main target market at the moment is home business owners/entrepeneurs. Mainly in Direct Marketing or Internet Marketing. Mostly selling higher priced products with a longer sales cycle. In business for themselves because of the lifestyle choices.
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Medium sized businesses with 10 - 50 sales people.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
I am looking for something with the text SalesForcePipeline or SalesForcePipeline.com with a graphic around it related to surfing or the pipeline waves. The idea I have in my head is a wave coming up over the text. The other idea was to incorporate a surfboard into the logo.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Blue, because of the relation with the wave and water.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
As I mentioned earlier, I would like to incorporate wave or surfing into the graphic portion of the logo.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Opportunities, Momentum, "In the Zone"
What is your tagline or slogan?
Harnessing the Wave of Opportunities
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Sales Opportunities are like wave in the ocean, as you miss one, another takes it's place. In order to succeed, you must understand how to harness the power of the wave of opportunities and learn through the proper preparation and tools any wave can be achieved.
Where will your new logo be used?
Website, shirts, business cards, brochures, video
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Salesforce.com, kind of plain, more targeted toward corporate america.
List competitive URLs if possible
http://www.salesforce.com
http://www.netxstream.net
What sets you apart from your competitors?
We are not looking for big corporate accounts but more for individuals and small groups working from home and looking for a solution to maintain their customer information and sales projection online in an ASP model with a strong backend and management of the data, giving them a bigger corporation solution without the cost.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Opportunity
