Yes they are. I receive dozens of applications a week. If you search Google for graphic design contests we are #1. That tends to bring in the best designers from all around the world to compete. :D

About every other week I go through the applications and select 2 or 3 of the best and send an invitation.

****, well i'll go and learn some more! but you know what the thing is? i know i can win certain logo contests or template contest, but the problem is first to get in... well i'll first finnish my Portfolio and find a good host for it and then i'll show it, and you all can tell me what to learn more! or improve,
