Hey everyone,
I'd just like to give some background info on myself. I've been designing websites for about 6 years now and been programming servide side for about 2 years. I wish I could sign up for the team, but I don't have an online portfolio, because I dont have a web host. My design experience is huge ranging from more professional looking sites to more excitng sites. I have skills in Photoshop(4 years), HTML(6 years), Javascript(2 years), PHP(1 year), ASP(1 year), VBScript(2 years), Flash(3 years), Freehand(2 years), Illustrator(2 years), and other programs/coding as well. Maybe I could show somebody(seems like Palmer is the head guy here) my stuff, so I could join the team. I know I have to fill out the application, but I don't have an online portfolio. Hopefully, I can join the team in the near future. Hope to meet you all.

Hi Adam. Welcome to Design Outpost. You're welcome to apply for the Design Team regardless of if you have a portfolio online or not. In the application you can put links to sites you have designed and in a separate email, you can send 5 of your best logos to palmer at designoutpost.com.
Thanks for introducing yourself,
Palmer

Can I send the 5 best pieces I have accomplished or do they have to be logos?

Yes, they need to be logos since that is mainly what we have contests for. I get a lot of portfolios with really cool pieces of Photoshop artwork but unfortunately, that type of creation is totally different from a logo, so those artists do not receive an invitation. :(
I also have a few conditional invitations from designers who are very good at templates but lack the quality I look for regarding logos. They are only allowed to enter template contests. If that is one of your strong suits then links to sites you have designed will be sufficient.
Thanks :)

What if I link 3 logos and 2 templates? Will that enable me to enter all the contests, because I am interested in all the work?

I will review the work you've linked me to and decide after that. The more links the better, it doesn't have to be just 5 :)

Alright, I'll probably get some of my stuff together this weekend as I am really busy with work right now. Hopefully you will like. : )
Out of interest, is fusionminds.com an actual site? Because its not working at my end...

He owns the domain name, just hasn't developed it yet. Just like HostingOutpost.com and DomainOutpost.com ;)

Should I give you the links in here or should I fill out an application? Or is either way fine with you?
Ya, Palmer has it right. I own the domain, but have not found a host yet. My last one(was a free one that my friend ran) shutoff. So if you guys know any good hosts, then please refer them my way. Thanks.

Yes, the application was received. Do me a favor and don't post messages in the contest forum.
Thanks :)
