[Project Complete] CD label for multiple products

Hi.

We develop 'Internet Security Components' which are basically tools for developers, and they deal with internet, communications, cryptography, secure email, etc.. (just giving you some background here).

We need CD label (and maybe even same CD covers) for our products. I don't feel like having separate CD label for each product, so I need something that combines them all together. You can find list of products here (to get the idea): http://www.weonlydo.com/index.asp?related=catalog I didn't want to say I want products listed on CD label, I wanted to say that CD label can be used for any of our products sold.

I need something modern, new, perhaps even apstract (with some sort of transitions between pictures, if you put any). Our colors are blue/orange, and our logo can be found on our webpage (if you plan to use it on CD label).

Even I offer $100 for this job, if CD label can be easy extended to be CD cover (meaning it's same/similar design), I'm willing to offer up to total of $300 for this job, but I need to see CD label first.

I'm open to any questions. And I'm anxious to finally start selling CD backups of our software - which we don't do due to lack of CD label :(

Hello. Do you have your logo available as an EPS file? Also, do you have specific Pantone colors for your blue and orange or do we need to approximate? Thanks!

hmm, we don't have EPS. We may change the logo soon (we purchased it here few months ago, just didn't have the change to update our website yet...). Currently we use this:

and this is only format I currently have.

As for colors, you can approximate. I don't even require CD label to be in those colors - this was just my suggestion that if you need some colors and don't know which ones to use, you can use those.

But I really prefer here your own imagination, since mine.. well.. I will not say :)

no, that's not what I had in mind. I don't want few images put in specific order, I could do that by myself ;) I want something more apstract.

hello.. here is my concept..
the cd label is also can be used for the insert cover of cd jewel..
the i can provide the design without text/name of software, so can be used for other softwares..
as you can see, there are 2 different softwares using the same layout/design.
yes it is simple design, but impactful enough..

yes, they are simple, but... Somehow keyboard image is far too general for computer related stuff. We deal with security, communications, email, components etc... so I hoped something like that would be presented.

I do admit I don't have anything special in my mind so I'm open to your imagination, to make something that will make me say WOW (no, it's not 'wizards of war'....)

This is my idea,
The product name can be printed on your inkjet or laser printer, so I make it simple. If you want to add images, I would be glad to revised the design.

very nice! I like it. Here are few more things to try:
1. orange color, I don't know how it will look when printed, but perhaps a bit ligher could be better. If you think it wouldn't be better, I trust you
2. can you try to put our color logo in that rounded rectangle instead of current one? You can find it at http://www.weonlydo.com/Images/weonlydo.gif . If you don't think it would fit, ok
3. what do you think if on right side you put some light white images also, some sort of small rectangles or other things. This seems to be very popular in software world, MS does it too. Or you can also put some white images that would be barely visible (so they don't stick out...) but still cause that monotone orange to get a bit "happier"

I was referring to message #8 from few days ago when I said you should try to remove middle horizontal part, because due to white color it looks like a country flag. You could still try it, just to see how it looks like.

very nice! I like it! I love the background. Can you put 'weonlydo' instead of 'internet' there?

We will need to put text here too, not sure which one yet, but at least there will be 'Internet security components' and 'WeOnlyDo Software', can you adjust it a bit so it fits somewhere?

These rj45 jacks are nice, athough they are more appropriate to network "hardware" company, so if you could change them to something else I would appreciate it. Something that more fits to programming, development, security..?

Yes! That's what I wanted! I really like it. I don't know what else to ask for :) It really suits my needs.

Erm, one small thing I don't like is type of picture in upper right corner - if I'm correct this is part of hard disk, right? Looks like this fits more to hardware companies? Nothing comes to my mind, I agree, but since we're in comunications too, perhaps such image of earth would fit nicely? I don't want it to be strong or isolated - I like it the way current image is somehow "incorporated" into the background.

Hello Wodkreso,

Since we have two designs that will be printed on paper - CD label and DVD label - it would be really good to know the printer specifications(accepted file formats, if the designs requires bleeds etc). This will help me delivering the final artwork correctly.

Also, the CD and DVD have spines and back cover. Maybe you can provide some copy for those too (system requirements, some third party logos if needed, etc.)
