Our company “Pakgems” sells Natural Gemstones, Mineral Specimen, beads, Gold rings on eBay. We have designed following template for selling natural gemstones:

We want to sell lab created gemstones on ebay using a template of completely different look and design. For lab created gemstones, our ebay id is “labgems”. Please note down following points for designing of template:

1. Use flash in template header…
2. Template header design view should show some features that reflect lab created gemstones
3. Use some of our pictures of lab created gemstones in header
4. You can use our company name as “Labgems” in header
5. Set up and look of template should be entirely different from template of our natural gemstones
6. One of example setup for designing this template is given below but you need to use your own ideas to make unique professional looking template…

We have attached a word file for more description and images of labcreated gemstones to be used in template header

Here is my concept. I used black & white to generate a contrast for the users to focus more on the gems than on the rest of the content and also to relate more to the concepts of elegance, refinement, uniqueness & luxury that I think all the buyers would like to do. This with a flash animation for the top will make it definitely a top seller.

Are there any more designs to be selected or do we have to finalize from these two designs?

So far we liked the design of Will. We request Will to do following changes and re-submit his design:

There should be two pictures of gemstones of bigger size on each side of text. Increase size of each picture to "300X300" or any other appropriate size ...Second image can be in place of video feed..place video link on top of this text "Look at this huge piece of cubic zirconinum"....we also want to see live flash on top...can you show us that..

Hi, Ali, here are the changes. I placed 2 different pages because on one of them I decided to remove the top logo since it is also in the intro. Anyway let me know which one you like the most.

About the animation it will also have some sound fx when the jewels enter and the flare start to shine, etc. The animation has a loader but let me know if it works ok.

On the main pictures I used bigger size images than on my previous design but wanted to avoid using too bigger images that might prevent the visitors from reading or seeing the rest of the information. This size I think is big enough to let them see the beauty of the crystals but a link "Click on the image for the full size image" can also be placed.

Ok, it's done. The animation runs 1 time and then 2 times it repeats the effects over the gems and the flare in the logo, the 3rd. time it starts all over again.

Let me know if I have to make it faster or if the timing it's ok.

Note: Don't forget to clean the cache of your browser in order to load the changed animation.

(1) TOP LEFT MOST CORNER OF TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, FIX IT..

(2) FIRST TIME WHEN TEXT AND IMAGES FLASH APPEARS, IT SHOULD BE OK, IN NEXT TIME, DO NOT DISAPPEAR TEXT...JUST PUT LIGHTING (SHINING) EFFECT WITH SHORT INTERVALS (FASTER)...I AM TALKING ABOUT LIGHT THAT PASSES THROUGH EACH IMAGE OF STONE AND LOGO...THAT LIGHT FLASH WILL LOOK GREAT IN FAST MODE...

You mentioned that the template was broken on the left most corner of it. Could you capture a screenshot in order to check the problem. I used Internet Explorer, Firefox & Opera and they seem to show it well. I don't know if it might be that the second posibility (http://www.willdesigns.com.ar/gems/index2.html) simply does not have the logo and the top was resized just for another posibility but it's complete on the http://www.willdesigns.com.ar/gems

Just let me know and I will make the changes that are necesary to fit your needs.

Dear Will,
Now top header looks ok. Please implement following changes in other section of template:

(1) Remove this sentence "LabGems Deals in completely Lab created gemstones......"
Instead of above sentence please write "LabGems Sells High Quality Lab Created Gemstones & Gold Jewelry"

Remove yellow cubic zirconium that comes before above sentence. Instead of that use logo that appears before the name of LabGems on top flash part of template...

Also make a link of "Click Here To See All LabGems Auctions" in this part...it should appear after above sentence...Fpr this you can make nice flash link or set it nicely and appropirately

(2) Improve look of menu (Payment, Shipping, Returns & Refunds, Contact)....Use this menu as I mentioned above....
When some one clicks Payment, then cursor should jump to heading of Payments...and do same with other menu headings

(3) Divide text part into four boxes for Payment, Shipping, Returns & Refunds, Contact...

(4) Improve Look of headings...

(5) http://www.willdesigns.com.ar/gems/...In this URL, remove "LabGems with logo from top most portion." Just Gray Strip will be fine

(6) How to declare you as winner? Tell me procedure on designpost and how will I get final files from you?

Here are the major changes.

1) I will make a flash animation for the text "Click Here To See All LabGems Auctions" as you suggested.

2) About the Tv: should I remove the text that is between the gems and replace it with the tv ? In that case do you know the size of the movie you are going to place inside the tv frame ?

Dear Will,

(1) Please remove following menus:

About Us
Auctions

(2) Rename Menu "Refund" to "Return & Refund"

(3) Set Text according to sequence of menu like following:

Payment
Shipping
Returns & Refunds
Contact

(4) Remove contact information that appears below the menu...because its repetition to show it in two places...Squeeze contact text that is shown at bottom in two lines...Start contat text from left instead of middle...

(5) I have attached example of video that we use with picture..You can suggest about size of videa that should look professional and nice in the tv..

(6) Please do not remove the text that appears between two pictures...You need to insert TV for video either above text or below text where it looks nicer...

(7) Do all changes and show design on your site in flash

Thanx a lot Ali for the feedback. I will prepare the final files. Just one more question: About the tv I can prepare a flash version that loads a movie, lets say "movie.swf" so you would only have to replace that file and I can make the buttons play and stop to work. If it is ok with you you will have to forget to program that and concentrate only on the good stuff: the selling :D

Ali, PM means Private Message. You will see at the top of this site in the right corner under "Welcome Ali" a link to Private Messages underlined and surely with a number different from zero to the right of it. Just click in the link and it will go to the Private Message section. There you will have 1 or several messages. Click on the "Final Files" one or on all of them until you got the one that gives you the address to download the final files.

If you prefer I can place the link right here just let me know. :D
