Admin code added by Abby - (3NM0438521803880W)

This will be for a new web site that I plan on having hosted by iPower.web. The company name is Staged Appeal. I will be posting my recently designed new logo. I need a home page and one other to use for various links. I'm not savvy about web page technicalities, so please be patient with me. The business is preparing homes for sale and some interior design. Go to roomsrediscovered.com and orderinthehouse.biz. These are for the same kind of business. I like the some things about both. The first home page has different colors that I like, and I like the general layout. The second I like for the simplicity of describing the business. I will need links for "What is staging", "Services", and e-mail. I will also want to imbed a link to Stagedhomes.com, for which I have intructions following. My logo colors are dark red and Yellow/gold.

Can anyone tell me how to post images? I had to have someone else do it for my logo. Can you work with logos posted, or will you just be providing the space for the logo and I will be doing the inserting on the template when its done?

Will,
As I said in 2b), you provided the option, now please explain. As I noted in my opening, I'm not web savvy. Will this be hindering the ability for this project to proceed?

Aliska,
I'm liking it so far. I think I'd like to see the E-mail trade places with What is staging. I also think the logo and company ame needs to be larger. What is the contact link at the bottom intended for? is it for direct e-mail link? If so, it's not needed because of the other e-mail option. I do,however, want to build in a link to Stagedhomes.com, with their logo present. I can send the logo and instructions for coding the link later. Is that something you would do as part of the template?
I also think the contact tel number area needs to be bolder.

Any thoughts on the second template, that I'll be using for the three home page links? I'll also need to bring in a couple of other logo's indicating my credentials. I think these will have to be on the home page someplace. I'll be posting them soon. Thanks

Here are two logos that I need on the home page that support my credentials. The ASP master is large and needs to be reduced. The other is probably sized correctly and is for IAHSP. There is also a link to StagedHomes.com. Here are the instructions from their site to make the link work, if you do this as part of your template design.

Hello Donny

And one more idea for home page

Aliska,
I like the first attempt better, and I'll comment on your revied version of that one. Before I do, I would like to gain some understanding of what I would be receiving in the end, and what will I need to know to actually use the templates to build the website. I know that the text area of the home page can be editted. Are the bullets you established in the text portion fixed or is the entire area available for just text? I'm looking for the photo gallery link page to have an option for "more photos", as well as links to home and the others. Can this actually be done with only one other template besides the home page?

As for the changes, could the left hand link names be done in the same font as my company name? I'd like the stagedhomes link moved to the far left and the other two shifted right.

Please clue me in as to how the second template can be used for the multiple links. Thanks

Changes with home page.

and sub page

Aliska,
I like this. Does this mean there will be more than 2 templates - another for services and another for "what is staging"? I'll be writing separately on the latest home page revisions. DO you have any answers to my earlier questions? Thanks

Donny

Aliska,
I'm rethinking some of the logos. The ASP master logo is so close in design to my own, let's try moving the ASP logo into the red area at the far left, with sub caption of Accredited Staging Professional Master. Eliminate the IAHSP logo, and instead, under the new ASP subcaption, Member of International Association of Home Staging Professionals.

Thank you all for submitting your template entries, but I have decided to work with Aliska. Thank you all again.

Also eliminate the StagedHomes.com link logo and replace it with "Visit StagedHomes.com click here". Place this at the bottom, below my tel number. No fax number. As you probably know by now, I selected you to be my designer. This may not be ready to finalize, as I'm reconsidering my logo - but it might stay the same

Hello again,

What you will get is a PSD file (it's a PhotoShop source file of design) which you may edit using Adobe PhotoShop software. It's about graphics part.

As for text etc., you will get 2 HTML templates (of front and back page). All text data which has been made with standard Windows fonts would be easily editable using any HTML editor (such as Microsoft Front Page or Macromedia DreamWeaver). By using one of these editors you would also be able to create all pages for your website based on HTML template.

For cases with non-standard fonts (you have them in buttons and headers), if you'll need to edit them, you have to do it in PhotoShop (using PSD file from us), save edited graphics and replace it in HTML template.

Probably it would be difficult for you to do all this because as you said you're not very good re. web page technicalities. So probably you will need additional help of a web-developer. Unfortenately I can't help in this case, because this is Templates zone and you buying template only.

I'm working on requested changed and will show you new version soon.

Thanks,
Aliska.

Hello :)

You need logos this way?

Donny

Aliska,
Yes, this is what I had in mind. I'll know Monday if there will be a change to my own company logo. I also want to connect with a web designer before I sign off in case he/she might have any questions I need to ask you. Bye for now.

Aliska,
Looks llike I won't know until the end of the week. Meanwhile, maybe you could clarify something for me. I like the home page, and the photo page. But how does one work with the photo template to make pages for services and what is staging? Thanks

Aliska

Ok, I'm waiting for changes for you.
For other pages you need to just change content part from photo gallery page and add content you need. If you need, I can create blank content HTML page so you will use it for creating new pages.

Aliska,
I've been working with someone on a logo redesign, but he has been having difficulty finding the font used on my brochure, as well as what you have come up with for the web site , and what is posted above as my current logo. He thinks it's something exclusive to Apple computers. I don't think so. Can you tell me what the font name is? Thanks
