WikiClaims will be the first medical claims wiki (a web page editable by anyone). For medical billers, there is no single place to go to get help, share info and learn about all the crazy details involved in medical billing. WikiClaims will be a place to share information.
Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
WikiClaims
What type of product or service do you offer?
WikiClaims is an information website that is editable by anyone.
How long have you been in business?
WikiClaims is brand new.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
We want it to be memorable and not too conservative. We want to have a little fun with this. With the word Wiki in your title, how serious can it be :-) Not too crazy though, we still need to be taken seriously.
What are your long term goals?
We hope that WikiClaims will become a primary community resource for medical billers.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
We will look at entries all the way up until the deadline.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Our primary audience is medical billing professionals. Our secondary audience are doctors or nurses running a solo practice an doing their billing themselves.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something memorable and fun but not too crazy. Ideally we would like an icon or illustration with the text. We are open to the creativity of the designers.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
No color preferences but would prefer brighter tones versus darker tones....dark tones tend to feel more heavy and conservative. We want to provide a little contrast to the boring/tedious nature of medical billing.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
The word Wiki comes from Hawaii so that could be incorporated please don't overdo this theme....it would need to be subtle. We would like to get across the idea of sharing/collaborating - the logo for www.wikipedia.org does a great job communicating this.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
We are here to help and bring the medical billing community together.
What is your tagline or slogan?
None yet.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We are here to help. Join in the fun.
Where will your new logo be used?
Only on the web site to begin with.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
No Competitors that we know of.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Alternative to mainstream medical billing information providers. We are going to provide info for free that most people try to charge for and we are going to ask the community to all contribute info so we can build the most comprehensive resource as well.
For other wiki site logos go to:
http://www.wikipedia.org
At the bottom of the page are a bunch of sister wikipedia projects.
We like the Wikipedia logo best also like the wikiquotes, commons and meta-wiki logo also. Would like our logo to be a bit more wild/fun though....
Thanks,
Ethan
