View Full Version : [Project Complete] Due Jan 1st - Logo for special event for Chamber of Commerce - $20

Our Chamber of Commerce does 10 events a year. We would like to start having a specific logo for each one. The first one we want to do is "Aspencade". This is held in September and is an arts and crafts fair and a time for the tourists to come and see the aspen leaves changing. Our town is located in the mountains of northern New Mexico at 8750 feet. We are open to any ideas.
The design will be used for advertising, on the web site, posters, t-shirts, glassware.
Colors: probably some gold
Due by: January 1, 2006
We look forward to seeing some great ideas!

Thanks for getting this started. When I saw your submission it dawned on me that the logo needs a tagline. It needs to say Arts and Crafts Fair. For trees I think we need aspens instead of a pine.

Hi Fran,
Thanks for the entry. I like the aspen leaves idea. I think I would like to see a little more whimsy. Could you include a mountain somewhere? I will take all the ideas to the committee and give there feedback soon.

Thanks, Michael. I will be gone for a few days, and as soon as I get a chance I will get the committee to look at your idea.
djaka, Could you try putting a big aspen leaf where the pine tree is?

Fran, Some of the committee would like to see some red in the design. Also could you submit a sample with Red River, New Mexico in it.

OK, the committee has looked at all the designs.
djaka,
We like version 3, could we just try a couple of things? Would you put some detail in the leaf, outline the leaf and the word aspencade and show us one version with Red River, New Mexico under the swoosh. I would also like to see some different fade, maybe a little more dramatic, but keeping with the same colors.
