View Full Version : [Project Complete] Need existing element converted - $50

Ok, this should be fairly straightforward. We have a trademark logo we’ve been using for nearly 10 years. It’s a rainbow colored armadillo that we like just as it is, but we presently only have this graphic in 128X72 GIF format (see attachment). What we need is this logo reproduced to a much larger size, say 1280X720, preferably in a format such as PNG that will scale better than GIF. We need the graphic on both a white and a black background.

Hiya, is that the largest image size you currently have of the armadillo? And you want the colors and details to be exactly the same? or maybe allow for some smoothing and so on?
Yes, that's the largest I have. Colors and details do not need to be exact matches, though close would be good. What's important to us is preserving the 'feel' of the image. What we don't want is some cartoon like, flat looking image. Not sure how to express this but the armadillo should look solid... portraying a real 3D object.

Here's my go at it. I still need to polish up a few things, but this is the gist of it. :) And the original is in the size specified.
That's essentially what we're looking for. We would like a slightly more blasé look on the armadillo which would require you to straighten out the curve at the bottom of the eyelid, thus giving it a half-asleep/half-awake gaze.

Here's the modified version. :)
Thanks for the proposal Christian. We accept it and want to proceed with this element design.

:D Are there any other changes you need that I can work on when doing the polishing up of the final file?
No changes. Remember we need the ability to use both white or black backgrounds. A unique background color would be nice. That way we could easilly change it without affecting the main body of the graphic. If you can provide a format that supports a transparent color that will also work. We can use whatever Photoshop supports.
