:) I am a start-up company looking for a total logo package to be used in print, on t-shirts, magnetic car sign, and possibly on the web in the future.
My business is called Celebrity Weight Loss Systems. We are a weight loss program that provides a varitety of weight loss programs in conjunction with a one-on-one "coach". I am looking for something to go along with the name "Celebrity".
I like bright green for one of the colors or anything that just catches the eye. I also like bright blues. I was thinking of something that projected the image of Hollywood or of Celebrities in general. Red Carpet? Or
Some of the slogans I've considered are "We treat everyone like a Celebrity" or "You don't have to be a Celebrity to look like one". Any help here would be great. We see the Celebrity in you.
My deadline for the project is two weeks or July 2nd. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Hi dietlady,
Here is an entry. They are the same, one just has an added filter to give it a different effect. If you have any feedback, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Simple and effective :) Check out the slogan, too!

imberra22, I like the design but I'm not crazy about the red and orange colors. Also, it needs a little something else. But so far it's good. Thanks.
Maybe we could try it with black and white at the top with the colors at the bottom. Would that work?
Sparkie, I love the slogan. I was looking for something more dramatic as far as the font goes. Thanks for your help.
Is there some way to add rolling out the red carpet or maybe a tape measure into the design? I was wondering if you could make part of the letters look like a tape measure.

imberra22: Is there any chance you could change the red to black and the orange to white? I'd like to see how that looks. I really like the design, just thought those changes might help. Thanks for your work so far.
Am I heading in the right or wrong direction with this?

Nice work Coxy..have you tried your design with the famous Marilyn Monroe pose (the one over the air vent) I was thinking of using it myself but I think may look better on your design.

Here are your suggested color changes, I think it looks nice!! Any other changes? I will try to incorporate a tape measure or something to that effect....and we will see what happens. Thanks for the feedback!

WOW!! I am so impressed with the effort you are all giving my project and I really do appreciate it. I'm no graphic designer, but I'll try to give a little input.
RadicalSeed: Great idea. I really like your design. It's very classy looking and more in the direction I think I'm heading. Is that a belt or a tape measure around the waist of the figure?
imberra22: Thanks. I like it much better with the black and white. It's still a little cartoony as far as the stars go. Do you have some other stars that we could try? Great work. I really like your design too.
2square: Yeah, it is a little cartoony, but it does catch your eye with the red carpet. Any way to make the carpet appear to be a red tape measure? You know, with the little tick marks indicating inches? Just a thought. Also, I'm not too keen on the font. Thanks.
coxy: I liked the black and red color scheme the best. Not crazy about the font. It seems to be lacking something.
Just want to say you guys are awesome. This is a great way to get a logo because you guys have so many great ideas to choose from. I think my problem may be having to decide between them. Thanks again for all of your hard work in putting these together so far. I really sit in awe. You guys ROCK!

Thanks for the feedback. Always a plus. And yes it is a measuring tape, albeit a very small one. ;)

And even simpler....with a rough idea of what it would look like on a shirt.

RadicalSeed: I really like the "Oscar" design, but when I got a co-worker to check it out, she thought it was Rosie, the robot from the Jetsons. Any suggestions? I love the font, though. I think the name part looks great. And I really thought the figure looked good. But I guess I'll keep getting input and see what others think.
IN GENERAL: When I started the contest, I didn't really know which direction I was heading. After seeing some of the ideas here, I am tending to like a more realistic look more so than the cartoon-type images. Also, even though I said I liked the blue and green, after seeing them in some of the logos so far, they are not my favorites after all.

Thanks for the feedback, I will try and work on something less cartoonish over the weekend or Monday.

Thanks again for all the ideas. I think you guys are great.
Dan: I love the color choice. It's very understated. I really liked it. Thanks.
FTIGraphix: Thanks. I liked the first one best. It looks good on the shirt. I would like to see the weight and loss on the same line, though.
I am looking for something that sets Celebrity Weight Loss Systems apart from the crowd, something identifiable that can be associated with my company that people will look at and remember Celebrity. The stars are great but I think I need something else.
So far my favorites are the spotlight and the oscar designs. But any input is definitely appreciated. Thanks so much again for all of your efforts.

HI Dietlady, here is another submission...I am still working on the spotlight idea, I will try and make it a little less cartoony. This entry is a play on the spotlight and a star... Thanks.

jmberra: I think I like it better without the red carpet. But thanks for showing me what it would look like. So far my favorite is your submission with the spotlight with the black and white at the top. Thanks for all of your input. I really appreciate it.
2square: Thanks. I like the red tape measure. That looks really good.
cre8tor: Thanks. Really cool but too risque for what I'm looking for. Thanks
You have all given me some great stuff to consider. Thanks again.

Well done jmberra..
I'm glad in a way, I was showing a design studio some of my work and they noticed my logo I had done for you (#2) they wanted it for a client of there's who is doing some sort of diet promotion, I've had to wait until this contest was over until I could sell them the design....you would be amazed how much they were offering to me to pull my submission from the contest, you think they would be more understanding. <_<
It was this contest what got me to do the logo, so all thanks to you...just don't tell Palemr or else he will want his cut
