Project: Control Panel Interface

This project requires the use of CSS/Java to create an interface for a web based control panel. You will design the layout, colors, style for the following components:

Login Page
Main Interface with navigation menu
Table and Table Header
Button styles

An example of the design style I would like to emulate is locate at http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/hspcomplete/demo/ . Click on the Reseller Control Center Demo. You are basically going to copy this and create a new "skin".

I like the colors and the similarity to windows XP. I would like the menu to operate in the same exact fashion, allowing multiple levels and the ability to click for expand/contract. It should also have hide/unhide feature (to make the whole nav bar slide to the left and be hidden). I need to be able to easily edit the links/words/icons.

You will then design the main content area with a new style of tabs at the top, and a nice way to display information in tables. You choose the table and table header design.

If you are positive you can get the left menu to function in the same way as the demo I provided, then for your submission you only need to post a photoshop mockup of the design itself, and once chosen will need to make the menu actually have the ability to expand/contract.

Hi Derekraines,
should we provide the icons in the tree, or we can use the one in the demo?
thanks

You do not have to create the icons, you can copy them either from the demo or elsewhere. However, when you make the menu actually working I need to be able to insert my own icons next to each link.

I'm in.
:)
IMHO, shouldn't this go to the programming outpost?
thank you

No, there is no programming. This is designing the GUI only.
