Hello again everybody! :D
I have another project that I would love to have the DO community participate in and I can’t wait to see all your great ideas!

Deadline for First Entry – Tues. February 14th.
Winning Entry Prize - $400

Logo Details:
Product name: Credit Ace (can be one or two words. Up to you)
Product Description: Credit Repair Kit

This project is for a product of a previous contestant (Bestcredit) called Credit Ace. Credit Ace is a credit repair kit that contains the Bestcredit book in various formats and additional tools to help someone take control of their credit. The idea behind Credit Ace is to take the book even further by providing a product that offers much more than what is possible with a book alone.

Credit Ace is intended to be similar to what SitePoint (http://www.sitepoint.com/books/sem1/) offers web designers with their Search Engine Marketing Kit, however, this is geared towards Credit Repair and helping buyers take control of their credit themselves.

The logo for Credit Ace should reflect the same look and feel as the current Bestcredit logo (see below), however, it should be capable of standing apart as if it were its own brand. The mark should be different yet the type and colors should be somewhat similar so that Credit Ace is recognizable as a product of Bestcredit.

Credit Ace should play along the same themes as the Bestcredit logo. It should be somewhat edgy. It should capture excitement and enthusiasm (the person in the dice) and represent things such as gaming and high scoring (the dice showing six). Obviously it doesn’t have to include all the same themes, but just convey the same ideas.

The logo should intrigue and excite someone to want to feel compelled to purchase the kit. It should also be extremely professional looking (That’s why I turn to you guys!).

The logo will be used for the cover of the product materials, website and any other sort of marketing materials that will be used in the future.

Please describe your company’s services or products
Credit Ace will offer information to help educate consumers about how the credit scoring system works and how then can control and change what is reported on their credit reports. It will include the soon to be published book Bestcredit – How to win the credit game, that offers an in-depth look into how credit bureaus and the credit industry at large functions.

Who is your target audience?
Anyone who wants to know more about their credit score and how to raise it.

As always, I will do my best to give everyone that participates, detailed and honest feedback.

Looking forward to seeing and enjoying everyone’s amazing talent!

Sincerely,
Tony

Pracus!

WOW! Awesome Job! What a way to get this project started.

Version 3 and 7 are my favorites.

In Version 7 I like the idea of how you came up with a new suite. Too cool!

As for version 3, all I have to say is :woot:
Awesome design! It really captures what this product is and how it expands on the book. Great design!

For the text, I think I prefer the treatments in versions 1 & 2 as opposed to the rest. Although the "c" overlapping the "e" looks nice as well. If I may ask, what is your preference?

Medigraph

Version 01
I like the play on the spade, but it took a few glances before I made the connection. Originally I just thought it was an abstract approach. I like the idea of using a person to reflect excitement although it think it may be too soft feeling overall.

Fabian

Version 01
Interesting approach! What is the message you are trying to convey? To me the spade conveys something evolving but I'm not really sure what the oval is intended to mean.

It's not a bad approach, but I'm not quite sure it works either.

For the type, seeing a different treatment helps remind me that it should stick to being similar to the BC logo. I think the type and red should reflect the original logo. However, I am open to introducing and using a new colors for Credit Ace.

Version 01
Nicely drawn! I like the gradient on the card. Nice touch. However, it feels very harsh with the heavy use of black in both the mark and text. I really like the play on the wallet and the card representing a credit card almost. Not a bad approach although I just don't think this design conveys it nice enough. Also, I prefer "ACE" as "Ace" otherwise it reads as an acronym to me.

Good start!

Gig

Version 01
Nice design gig. I really like how the card is drawn and how you represent all 4 aces. However, I think it needs to tie in more with credit repair, debt fusion and identity theft protection or the original logo. Otherwise, it could be mistaken for something related to poker and not credit repair. One thing that I really liked though is how the line treatment around the card matches the dice. Very nice.

Version 02
Hehe, fun design. I appreciate that you took a completely different approach with this one. However, I don't think it conveys enough about CreditAce.

This is an awesome start everyone! Once again, you guys blow me away with the quality of entries from the very start! I can't wait to see what else you guys produce!

Sincerely,
Tony

Thank you Tony.
Looks like my "red guy" isn't visible enough (ace is his head, red parts of wallet his body).
And ACE will be Ace...
So, this definitive needs more work :D

Ah! Now is see what you mean nhr!

Hehe. Funny how the same design can communicate different meanings to different people.

Thanks again for participating nhr, I'm definitely a fan of your work!

Sincerely,
Tony

Hi Tony!
Thank you for very kind words :)

To be sincere I like both versions of the text. The first one is more classic for your product with reference to BestCredit logo. The second gives the text a fresh breath and may become the element that marks out the product logos from the company logo.
