Project Summary:
Logo design for a new dog training business named Fresh Start Dog Training. I’m located in a hip, gay/straight & ethnically diverse neighborhood in San Francisco. My customers will be people who adopt dogs from animal shelters, rescue organizations, and people I meet at my neighborhood dog parks.
Look:
I’ll be using the logo on business cards, website and t-shirts. I currently have pink in my hair and wear a lot of pink, blue and black. I’m not a huge fan of pink and blue together, with the possible exception of navy and light pink. The t-shirts I put them on can’t be white because I get dirty fast. Probably best if no more than three colors are used. My tagline is “Give your dog a new leash on life”. I’d like a happy and/or calm dog. Something urban. I like terrier mixes. I love it that the dog looks like it came from a graphic novel where it is having a lovely time. I also like how you used the text as ground. I would like the font to be more sophisticated. I think the text color would clash with pink. I really want colors that will look good with pink and blue (not together). I'm still partial to terriers, but I do like that the dog looks so carefree and happy.

I like how bold the image is and the colors are great. Cute dog. Is there a way to make the text more compact? The font is great.

I like the new font and color scheme :) I also like the black and white dog much better. The black and white version still loses something without the shading. I'm wondering if sliming the dog would make a difference. Thank you for the revisions!

Paula 23, great designs. I’m particularly drawn to version one. I think I’d prefer a sans serif font, although I do like the hint of curviness to the font you chose. I’m wondering if I could also see it laid out with a website banner in mind. I adore the heart in the leash of version two, can it be incorporated into version one?

Paula,
I like the leash with out the heart. Your original design ended up being the favorite of my consulting team : ). On the banner I like how the two smaller stars are barley noticeable and would like that look on the large one as well. What font is it that I chose? I’d like to use it in my website.
