(Admin code added by Palmer - 4NA76011JM710282C)

We are looking for a logo for a new software application that we've developed. The product name is 'PermitFx' and more information about the product can be found here:

http://www.tsfsg.com/products/permitfx/index.aspx

We need the logo to be able to use for a program logo, print on letter heads (i.e. cmyk), show on the website and ideally would have the following attributes:

- clean vector look
- standalone logo without text
- reproducible in black and white
- clear at small sizes or small size version (16x16)
- one of the colours should be the orange from our company logo - C4%, M37%, Y85%, K0%
- be clean and original like our company logo '3six5' - www.tsfsg.com

- software application descriptive keywords:
- permit to work system
- workflow
- authorisation
- worker
- electronic forms (pdf)
- safety
- target audience: oil/gas and mining industry
- something that is ideally flat but clever in it's design
- something that use pages with form fields

We are on a pretty tight deadline - but will wait for the perfect logo :D

We like a lot of the logos on:
www.rajasandhu.com
www.thinkkre8tiv.com

From our website you will see we currently use a page with form fields on it skewed at an angle, we like what this says but want a logo that says it in a much cleaner/cleverer way - however we are open to any ideas ( and I've seen some fantastic ideas on this website!).

Thanks,

Dave.......

Hi Guys, Firstly, thanks for joining this project and contributing your designs!

Caroline: We feel this design isn't heading in the direction we are looking for, PermitFx is a very innovative product so the logo should be interesting and clever in it's design or shape etc.

MediGraph: We really like this abstract design and in general we are very open to designs that are abstract - however we feel that the design is too abstract and doesnt tie enough to the product. We loved the lime green/dark blue and the orange/dark blue - if possible we'd love to see both sets of colours used more together and separately in future designs.

Bill: We feel this logo is to close to our existing company logo and we wanted to distinguish the product from the company logo.

The other thing to mention is that we are looking for a logo that is not connected to the actual text 'PermitFx' (note the lowercase 'x') but could be used together.

If anyone has any other questions please shoot them through.

Thanks so much for the work done so far.

Dave.......

Flava: We liked your 'angle' on this but couldn't see how it connected to the product - love to see more/different ideas.

Medigraph: Each time we come back to this we like it, however it needs to say 'electronic form' or 'form fields' or 'page' - but still keep the symbol you've created. Also can we see more variations on colours, perhaps combining the blue/orange/lime?

Thanks so much Guys!

As our deadline approaches we would like to say a huge thankyou to all of the designers who submitted designs. It's a huge testimont to your skills when you can come up with original designs time and time again.

After much discussion we have decided to award Medigraph's design (Message #9 - his version 3.0) as the winner.

Thanks a lot to all designers!

Dave, there is an important message from me regarding this project in your private messages folder...
http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/private.php?folderid=0

Do you have any revisions for Medigraph? He cannot be paid until you receive the files.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
