What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
the name of my business. Nicole Kajune Photography.
What type of product or service do you offer?
journalistic type photography of children and their families.
How long have you been in business?
going on about a year.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
i'd like to have a graphic i can use long term.
as a watermark, on business cards, stationary, etc.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
february 18th
What type of logo would you like?
i'm looking for something fun and whimsical.
i realize that having incorporated my own name into my business name it might not be easy to do, but i'm hoping with all the talent here, someone will come up with something wonderfully fun and exciting!
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
i'd like to be able to change the colors on a whim.
but i do like fun bright colors... at the moment, my website
is sporting brown and pink/red/coral. but i'm open to anything at the moment. that could change as i see examples, however.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
yes, and no. i'd like to have some type of image/graphic logo that can be a constant through the years. as i said before, something fun, whimsical.... 'doodly'. doodly is a good word for what i see in my head. i've thought of a kite... line/hand drawn, maybe an umbrella, a frog might be cute... some kind of monkey?
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
i'm thinking i'd like the fonts to be simple and elegant and then throw in some whimsy with a doodle graphic.
i'm in dire need of a website revamp, but maybe it will help to see some of my work.
