Hello to all. I have browsed this forum for several days. I am very impressed with the entire process as well as the creative quality of work I have seen. I currently have an online flooring website www.blackriverfloors.com which is in desperate need of major revamping. We will be posting for new templates but to start we would like a professional Logo. The official company name which should be on the logo is Black River Flooring Corp. The Company name was choosen because of our proxity to the Black River which is a tributary of the Mississippi River. Colors and design are at designers choice. We like to portray our company as very trustworthy honest and professional if this goes good I anticipate having several product logos created as well! Thanks in advance - Matt
Please fill out these questions and copy and past them into a message.

Abby,
The 24th would be better. I have several other logos and website templates that will need to be designed as well. These will be waiting on the new logo. If we can finish the logo this week I can post for the other projects this weekend. From what I have seen there is not really any postings in the early days.

Pracus,
Thanks for the fast submission. I like the color choices, the design is nice but may be too fine. Our company name is so long it may be better if we can condense it somehow.

First of all I would like to thank all of the designers which have posted to this project. With all of the talent in this forum it makes choosing a design very difficult. I am leaning towards designs that are not so tall because the logo will be used on our website and will affect the top of our template. Some comments on the designs.
1.Paula -design version 2 . I think it would look awesome on t shirts but I don't like the font, can you try it with a different font and reduce the size to that in the BW? Version 3 is nice but may be too bold. Version 4 is a nice size but I think maybe some blue or Maroon color tones would be nicer.
2.Unorthodox-design version 1. This is currently one of my favorite designs. On the lower line can you please use the text of (flooring corp.)
3.Pracus-design version 2. I like the colors and font but I think maybe the logo is too tall for us. Can you make version 2 more like version 3?
4.Medigraph-design version 1. This is the most elegant design maybe too elegant for us..I am not sure yet. Please adjust it so it is not as tall.
5. Artemii- This design doesn't work for me.
Overall, I am very impressed with the submissions!

Paula,
Version 5- I like the symbol you created , font is ok but not sure if I want to be commited to a red and black theme (could you try multi colored on the symbol). Version 6 - the colors just don't do it for me. I still think I favor version 5 over version 6 design wise.

Well, the elegancy is basically due to lettering. Here is a less formal version :)

Thanks to everyone who participated. It was a difficult decision but the office has selected Unorthodox Version 2 for the design. I am very pleased at all of the creative submissions. We will be posting additional projects for Website templates as well as several product brand logos. Thanks again - Matt :)
